here is some of the backstory, so epic spoilers lol. Henry use to be a servant in the castle during King Frett's reign. He use to be apart of Edwardin's friend group even though he was kinda mean to him. Despite the fact that he was a dick to Edwardin, ignoring the consequences of threatening the Prince (soon to be King). Edwardin didn't mind, he only saw a brother in her, or at least a friend. Edwardin never truly hated nor disliked Henry, or get offended at any of his remarks because he though of it funny. But, neither did Henry really hated him, in fact, she was sort of happy that Edwardin didn't do anything back. Henry was orphaned by his parents who left Eric, he was then taken from orphanage to work for the King at age 10. Henry hated his servant life because he had no say in becoming one, therefor he was just a slave. Henry only really showed true affection towards Aura, another servant but also a friend to Eddy. Henry was jealous of that but also pissed because Edwardin was royalty. st

But as years go by, Henry started to realise that Edwardin wasn't like Frett. In fact, Edwardin felt the same pain as everyone else did. Even if he was Frett's son, he was still suffering from Frett's actions. Henry secretly started becoming fond of him, until that changed. At aged 14, Aura was killed, not by Frett, but by Edwardin. Edwardin made a mistake, he didn't mean to hurt nor kill Aura. Henry was mad, he was pissed, he was finally actually hateful. But his hate only lasted a few years. When Frett died, Edwardin became King and freed all servants who didn't want to be a servant. Giving them opportunities. He gave all of his friends titles. Joeis, the leading Knight/guard and Henry head Healer. And if Aura was still alive, she would have been a royal sorceress because of her fascination for wielding/magic. Henry used his wielding, which was healing obviously, to help those in war. But he still convinced himself that he hated Edwardin, and he believed those grudges.

When Edwardin decided to pass on, Henry was hit with a hard realisation. He came to the realisation that he never hated Edwardin. And everything he tried to believe was false. Edwardin never truly hated Henry, he never hated her. And he didn't truly hate Edwardin. But he continued to push forward, knowing he can finally forgive and accept. Despite his life being harsh, he still pushed on, knowing it's what Edwardin might have wanted. Edwardin never told on him to his father, because Edwardin knew what would happen, and he didn't want that happening to Henry. Edwardin would only chuckle and joke at his insults. Edwardin only saw Henry as his brother, or at least a friend. And Henry saw Edwardin as a friend, also a brother he never had.
