You're still young. Everyone progresses at different rates and towards different goals and inspirations, you never know where someone started unless they show you and even then it probably won't be the depths of their bad content. You have all the time in the world to master art, and even then no one ever truly masters it. you don't have to be good at art right now, you don't have to be good at art ever if you don't think that's in the cards. So long as you're still enjoying doing it, what's the harm in still practicing?
And if you really want a improve, I tell this to everyone, start on some art fundamentals. Even if you think you know them. Review.
I just watch art YouTubers who give good tips lol
Like the kind of artists that make their living selling original paintings and clawed their way up from the bottom and really had to *learn* and work for what they have. no offense to kiddie art channels, they have value, but they rarely tell it like it is tbh
Any working artist will tell you fundamentals are the backbone of art. Like, everything else about your piece can suck but if you have good composition your piece gets infinitely better immediately. Rule of thirds and all.
