CHAPTER 1 _____________________ So I got a journal recently, and I thought this would just be normal, maybe write about school, or climbing trees... But, things changed. Ever since that bomb hit the city I've just been wandering, and you rarely find people now, and if you do they aren't willing to be kind or rebuild society. They just steal your shit and run, or point knives at you.I met one, who scammed me out of my waterskin for a stupid key. Or was it stupid? Well, i found an old shipwreck, and decided to scavenge in hopes of supplies. But, instead I heard noises.. Scuttles, creaks. I ran. As I stepped over a floorboard, the entire floor area fell away, and I tumbled into darkness...

I scrambled and found an unlit torch on the wall, it was lucky I keep matches with me. Mother used to tell me not to play with matches.. Mother... The room filled with an orangey glow, the torch alight. Then I turned and saw it. Engraved in the stone walls was a door. Tall, and covered in engraved drawings and patterns. In the middle was a keyhole. For a stupid key. ______________________
