LinkI see people usually are more comfortable with their door closed at night. And I'm more comfortable with my door closed during daytime. But I only now realized how paranoid I really am. Ever since I can remember I've been terrified of the dark. When I was little my mom or dad would close my door or turn off the hall light at night and I'd start crying. Now I'm not far from 13 and I have a night light, the TV in my room is on, my bedroom door is open, the hall light is on, and even the tiniest uncalled for noise makes me jump.
Is this normal? :/

Linksame a lot of people are scared of the dark it is pretty nrmal my mom is scared of the dark too so like it's pretty normal how i overcame the fear is by just turning off the lights and trying to not be scared i did that for like a week and then im not scared so i suggest you should be brave and then you'll overcome the fear

LinkYeah that's a good point. I've never really tried to overcome my fear of the dark. Or any fear I have for that matter. Anywhere it's dark I always hesitate to even look at. I think if a room in my house is dark I should go in there without creeping my arm through and turning the light on. If I manage to convince myself nothing bad will happen, maybe I can overcome it

put a flash light in a random place when its dark somewhere turn the lights on and turn the ights of and find the flash light in the dark
