Linkgender dysphoria and gender incongruence are two different things please just take 2 seconds to look up gender incongruence

Linkmaking this post bc i had to have this pointed out to me unfortunately. i knew there was a problem with the argument ive seen passed around lately but i couldn't put my finger on it and this is it

yes! they do go hand in hand but theyre still two different things. gender incongruence can cause gender dysphoria but gender dysphoria doesnt cause gener incongruence.

It just feels like they´re two different words for the same thing, like bunny and rabbit. both are correct and mean the same thing

Incongruence = Feeling bad about your gender

like the definitions u copied and pasted above say, gender incongruence is basically just defined as a disconnect from a persons agab. like it says. "The dysphoria relates to the distress and unease experienced.". its talking about gender *dysphoria* now, not gender *incongruence* anymore. gender incongruence doesnt come with distress, while gender dysphoria does. a person with no gender dysphoria can still change their pronouns and all, but they dont feel distress knowing that their physical body isnt the gender they identify with or whatever. idk sorry i suck at explaining i hope that helps </3

uhhhh teehee I kno that they´re different but I just made a post abt something??? if u could read it </3 i just feel like all these terms and shit for the slightest changes are confusing, and (me and my lil squirrel brain) i have a hard time remembering and differentiating them.

I don´t mean it as like!! a medical term or anything!!! its really just easier for me to say, with a speech impediment i can´t make it through really long words, i just wanna save myself some embarrasment >.<
Okay okay so basically yeah this is not the same word but like in my big ol' post I kind of mean the same thing, like it doesn't have to be called dysphoria I just meant that if you feel totally good with your gender assigned at birth and everything that goes with it you wouldn't be trans.
I kind of just figured dysphoria could mean more than physical because I've seen it used in separate ways.
ok but saying "gender dysphoria" instead of "gender incongruence" just makes it seem like if you don't sob every time you're misgendered you're not trans. they're similar but you need to specify
i can't explain it with words but just. dont say dysphoria in place of incongruence.,, even if you're specifying that you're not just talking about body dysphoria you're definitely alienating people by saying "you need dysphoria to be trans"

yeah I don't actually care?? Like if you have dysphoria or incongruence or whatever I just meant you wouldn't be trans if u love ur birth gender. So like I wasn't trying to attack people I just didn't know there were separate words and tbh it shouldn't be a big deal either all you need to do is say there are separate words and then boom, explained.

ahah yes you don't care about making people feel horrible and being one of many to exclude them from the trans community because you won't specify and use a better word that fits what you're saying more and i shouldn't care because uhhh why? people are being hurt by this shit, why shouldn't i care
