Especially when you desperately try to stay friends with people, but they make no effort to speak to you or even try to acknowledge your existence in any way, and you know that you’re probably bothering them with every word you utter to them. You also know that if you don’t speak to them, they won’t ever talk to you again, and you’ll probably just be forgotten. But clearly I wouldn’t know anything about that, huh? :)
