Anyways I need to think of a plot that makes sense. Maybe the main character is adopted and as oldest, has to take care of bratty sisters. One day she explores and uh... Finds a purple crystal and it gives her powers.... Maybe..?
I'm not sure, those types are sorta overused in my opinion.
Try this:
The MC (Main Character) is travelling with friends. They separated from them in a unknown maze they accidentally walked in, causing her to get lost.
On the way, she found some sort of moon-shaped accessory (Or the same crystal thing if you want.) and decided to keep it.
The object (or crystal) became beloved to the MC they couldn't let go, causing them to grow obsessed and gain it's powers.
