When in range it strikes with ferocious velocity , wrapping its 3 jaws around the creature trapping it inside . Once it has captured its prey, it crushes it until it dies, before swallowing it. Yes I know, gruesome. :v Gender differences Male and Female counterparts are very easy to tell apart, with males having larger/longer petals on their heads. Females are larger , with long tails and short heads. Males petals and markings are often bright , rarely being dull unless it’s a mutation. Surrounding area. If there is lack of water, they stick their strong root like tail to dig down and find a water . I’m not gonna list migrations patterns or anything else because I’m too lazy to do so at the moment.
