I can explain,, Alex was swimming around, catching fish- and a mermaid was stuck in a net so he tried to get her out and he got her out but he got stuck and the net was tight enough to dig into his skin and he started bleeding,, and the sailors were probably very confused when they pulled up a person- but uh y e a h
