I kinda feel uncomfortable talking about it, but..
How do you deal with the hate? Or not exactly hate, but there’s a lot of people who are against Christianity, and they want people to know it. I’m terrified to show who I really am in public, because I’m scared that people will blame me for being homophobic, even though I’m not against it, I just respectfully disagree. Whenever I see the word homophobic, I’m scared it’s aimed towards me. Sorry, this was long, but I just notice how you don’t really tend to pay those comments much attention, and I want to know how you feel about it
Well when I first received hate for my opinion on homosexuality, it was a lot and kind of out of nowhere and pressuring
But as I saw the comments I had like a calming feel about it and I feel like God was there to calm me down
and when I loose followers or friends from it, it's understandable, but I'd prefer to stick to God.
When I receive hate about it I don't get hurt from them insulting me or being mean or rude, I just take alright
But sometimes I feel a little bad for the person or a lot, for the way they feel about it.

is it ok that im Christian but i don't actually really believe any of the stuff? for instance, why would it be a sin to eat shrimp? that just sounds ridiculous, and if he would actually somehow know all this stuff, then why would he say something like that?
also is it bad that im Roman Catholic and lgbt+? i mean, the real saying was that an adult shouldn't be with a kid in a relationship thingy and was lost in translation, but idk.

Yea I see what you mean about siblings making it hard I have eight siblings and live with the youngest five.
When it comes to that, you should try praying for guidance and maybe ask for help from God. Also when your tempted you could try singing a gospel song or reciting a Bible verse.

oh, so i don't remember most of it, but basically this guy was like "hey lord how many times do i have to forgive somebody? 7 times?" and then he was like "no, 77 times." that's all i really remember, and im just confused about why it's 77 and if ur not allowed to forgive somebody the 78th time

Jesus is just cool like that, he loves everyone no matter what. I'm christian, and gay people or lesbians are perfectly fine in my opinion. What matters to me is that people are in a happy healthy relationship where they see a future together no matter what their religion is.
Yes actually, its nothing really important but have you read or hear of the book “Tramp for the Lord“ by Corrie Ten Boon? It’s about a woman that traveled the world with at some times nothing but a Bible. She was a survivor of a German labor camp. It’s a short book but is powerful. It was remarkable how she left everything to go and almost always said “The lord shall provide” or something along those lines. I think you’d like it!
Also adding on with a semi more serious question, how do you deal with hate and people assuming things. I came across the anim of everyone giving you hate and everything and ready it made me annoyed and frustrated. How did you deal with that? Whenever something like that happened to me it would give me stress and anxiety for the next few following days.
And along with this comes one of the hardest things to do nowadays. (For me at least). Is it be loving and forgiving to everyone, it’s so hard for me to be forgiving when some people set me off an stuff. Sooo.. yeah. I’ll be going to Ben soon so goodnight!

When I received that hate at first I was a bit surprised and seeing all the comments for the first time it was a little overwhelming so I was like, I don't even know
But eventually I got to replying and I was easy to forgive them kinda, but I was like 'seriously' come on
Then the more and more I saw the hate, I think I started getting calmer, and I feel like God had me calmed and positive with them.
Also if I remember correctly I did have a small prayer about it to help me and such or to help them or both
There are Christians in this site that are... somehow... in the lgbt. Do you talk to them about it or do you just ignore them?

1st- It's a sin to hate
2nd- It's the sin I'm against not the person also being gay isn't the sin, the sin is acting upon it and having sexual relations with the same sex.

Um, HeYy? Im a muslim, and we get more hate than Christians, but our religions are very similar in the context, only where in the bible it says turn the other cheek, in the quran it says fight back, Thats literally the main difference (other than you believeing jesus is son of god) but both teach you to be good people and whatever, and violence is bad and manners, so question.. Im the sort of person who cant STAND being wronged, or others being wronged. Im the sort of person who will tell a teacher what they can and can't do because they pissed me off, and when peopl hate on my religion, it takes so much energy not to punch em. I think this mught happen with you as well, and how do you deal with it? I would like pointers please :D
also how do you deal with different sects in the same religion havivng stupid feuds, like sunni or shia (in islam) or prebysterian and roman catholic (in christianity)?
When it comes to hate like I was receiving, I get overwhelmed and a little shook, but then I take it in and respond to certain comments.
I then remember eventually hate is a sin and that 'insult for insult' isn't right.
I then continue to answer and ask for God's help.
Today I then prayed to God asking for help and positivity and to help me to be calm.
I then listened to a gospel song after prayer and I was singing and being happy and joyful.
Then I came back to reply I was still kinda shook, but it went away :D
Hey, I’m probably late but, how do you stay so calm during hard times? I have anxiety which puts extra weights on that subject.
I've asked God to take all my stress and fear and worries.
Also when things like this happen I start out overwhelmed kinda and shook kinda.
But then after some time, I pray to God to help me and calm and it works, I believe!!
In this situation I prayed then listened to a worship song.
What do you think about things that aren´t stated in the bible or scriptures?
Like, what if something isnt addressed? Is it a gray area or are you allowed to form your own opinion on it?
