Linkyour oc/ocs had decided to rent a winter lodge for a couple weeks. the lodge was cozy. but it seemed a little big and fancy for a lodge of such low rent. but alas, you unpacked, and decided to explore the woods around the lodge. across a frozen stream you see a whole in the deep snow. it was big enough for a person to slip in and out of. do you check it out? gear up before going in?

The large bull peered at the hole curiously, his hands stuffed into the large pockets of his fur coat. He was a large, black bull with broad shoulders and he oddly enough being alone, was well dressed in a tux and large fur coat that went to his knees. He had two large black horns, of course besides a white splotch that rested on one. He hesitantly looked down at the frozen over stream and in his black, knee high boots, began walking over the ice.
there was a sense of someone in there. the tunnel of the hole went down about a foot before opening up into a cave. the stream had fully frozen over, so there was a little cracking here and there. but other than that, solid ice.
Once growing confident he wouldn't fall in, even with his large and heavy figure he walked all the way over. He man glanced into the hole before he gently stepped down the foot before climbing into the cave. His brown-hazel eyes scanned the dark cave and he squinted his eyes.
as his eyes adjusted to the dark, there laid Fenrift. cold, not dressed for the winter, curled around a smaller, prehistoric, lizard of sorts. they both seemed to be asleep. his horns had a layer of frost over them, and it was clear if he stayed out there a couple days longer he would be dead. the only then that stood out was his arm. his arm had the word "banished" carved into it. as if he deserved this.
His eyes widened and he stared at the two. He muttered a gentle curse under his breath and gently slid off his coat, walking over to them. His voice was gentle. "Excuse me..?" He kneeled down beside them and slowly began sliding the coat over them carefully, his body warmth still lingered along the inside of the cozy coat.
Fenrift flinched, but remained asleep. his frown slowly turned into a small smile. nuzzling again the coat. but on the other hand, the lizard woke up, staring at the large bull.
His eyes moved to the lizard and he froze up, he never really was a huge fan of reptiles. He hesitated before sliding the coat over the two further, his heavy breathing could be seen in the cold, frosty air.
Fenrift shifted, waking up. groaning he sat up, holding his head. once he saw the bull he freaked out. scrambling to the back of the small cave. staring at the bull in a panic. the lizard seemed to try to calm him down. hopping around and making some sort of chirp.
He flinched and frowned when the jacket fell. He shook his head and picked it back up, his fur prickled as he began to feel the cold air through his suit. He held it out to him, his voice was deep and ragged, but kind. "hey, I'm trying to help-"
Fenrift flinched, moving his arms in a way to protect himself. the cold air caused his fluffy neck fur to stand on end. he seemed to have had a tough life, from the way he protects himself. and how he just doesn't care about the word banished carved into his arm. the lizard on the other hand, looked over and nuzzled the bull. trying to make the raptor like creature understand that everything was ok.
He flinched at it and sighed gently, handing it the coat. He hesitated for a moment and gestured for it to bring the jacket to the boy, who he looked back at his sympathy in his eyes. He gently sat down on the cave floor, as if to make himself seem smaller.
the lizard ran over with it. the raptor finally let his guard down. hugging the lizard. he seemed to feel safe when around the lizard.
He smiled slightly and watched the two, slowly edging closer. He held his large, scarred hand out to him. "Can you understand Me..?"
the raptor stared at the hand. before gaining the courage to quietly say "yeah". his voice, even if it was quiet, was rough. as if he hadn't talked in days.
The lizard nodded. before scratching itself. to be honest it acted more like a dog than a lizard.
His voice only made him seem to feel even worse for him. He slowly started crawling over. "What happened to you..? You need a place to stay? Cause I have plenty of room-"
he growled. "I was banished from my hometown by my own family. and I don't want to cause you anymore trouble." he looked down. hugging his knees. he sighed, his horns were cracked, but not broken.
he shook his head sa he insisted. He moved closer to him with a sigh. "No, you're no trouble I promise. You cant stay out here you'll get hurt-"
His tail moved to wrap around himself, sighing. “I can’t just stay with you.. it’s weird and.. I feel like a toddler.” He looked away, huffing.
He shook his head and gave him a gentle smile as he scoot over, adjusting his coat that was now on the mans shoulders. "No no, it's really alright."
