For some reason, the enemy flitter stuck out to me. Maybe it was just the fact it was a big bug, or the fact it gave the swamp and the cloudy pirate ship stages a little more life. My favorite use of flitter is in World 3-3, "Krockhead Klamber", which has you swinging from giant reeds and bouncing off flitter's, and using crocodile heads as platforms.
