Dungeon Meshi: A journey through a dungeon where they have to eat monsters to survive! It's probably one of the best mangas I've read. Like ever. It has good character designs, a good story, and good personalities. Every character is different in many ways, and there's a lot of work and worldbuilding that went into this. A great read if you like D&D, girls who are just complete messes, old bearded man panty shots, and cooking mangas. [Also, they have a catgirl who is more girl than cat! She's awesome!]

Wandering Son: Shuichi Nitori, just transfered schools, and is entering fifth grade. He meets a girl named Yoshino Takatsuki and she soon learns he wants to be a girl. She of course confesses she wishes to be a boy. It's really nice read about trans kids and finding your identity. There's a few iffy moments, but it's mostly good other than some moments. There's a lot of struggling, but I promise, the ending is incredibly sweet.

Homunculus: Really good, like REALLY good. I love the art in this, and while I've only read the first omnibus of it, the story claws its way into you that makes you want to read more. It's a bit disturbing in how they showcase some of the characters, which makes sense. It's kind of like a mystery of figuring out what's wrong with a person before it's revealed. That's what makes it fun to me.

I am a Hero: Another manga where I've only read the first omnibus, I am a Hero is about a 35 year old mangaka assistant, Hideo Suzuki. He suffers from strange hallucinations, weird dreams, and pretty bad paranoia. It all changes when a virus breaks out! Turning people into zombies. It's pretty good, and a good slow burn, the zombie outbreak only happens like two thirds through the omnibus. The designs for the zombies are cool as well, pretty horrifying in the way they're drawn. I like the art in this, and how Hideo looks, he's goofy.

Sunny: An incredibly good set of views into a foster home of children, and their lives. They all have things that trouble them, but something that helps is the sunny, an old car in the front lawn of their home. It was made by Taiyō Matsumoto, who in my opinion is a great writer. You really emphasize with the kids, and hope for the best in all the hardships they go through. It's nice to read back through them once in a while.
