Linki kept having to make the teacher say my ideas for me because when i tried nobody heard me but here is my argument for staying out of the russian and ukraine war as the united states, not that i personally agree with this option but it was what i was assigned, here is what i wrote
Firstly, the war is a foreign conflict. We are not being threatened or attacked directly, and going into the war in a country across the globe is unnecessary. This is especially true since our relations with Russia are far from trustworthy, and going against them will just reiterate how much we oppose their ideas and actions. Entering ourselves into the war might also mirror our problems that occurred in the Vietnam war, where men were sent to a war they didn’t want to fight, all because of the government's fear of communism spreading. By staying out of the war, we will also be preserving American lives. While our military is strong, Russia’s is also strong. It will not be an easy war to win. Staying out of the conflict will also

LinkStaying out of the conflict will also keep the economic state of our nation in a healthy flow, since we will not be spending money on supplies such as firearms, tanks, medical aid, etcetera. In addition to all of this, entering the war will increase the tension between us and Russia. This is especially risky, considering their nuclear power is stronger than ours. While nuclear bombs have only been used once in history, there is no saying that it won’t happen again. Though we are being backed by NATO if we are to be attacked with nuclear weapons, the destruction will already be done before they step in. Avoiding the conflict will also prevent us from potentially going into another Cold War with Russia.
