i kept having to make the teacher say my ideas for me because when i tried nobody heard me but here is my argument for staying out of the russian and ukraine war as the united states, not that i personally agree with this option but it was what i was assigned, here is what i wrote Firstly, the war is a foreign conflict. We are not being threatened or attacked directly, and going into the war in a country across the globe is unnecessary. This is especially true since our relations with Russia are far from trustworthy, and going against them will just reiterate how much we oppose their ideas and actions. Entering ourselves into the war might also mirror our problems that occurred in the Vietnam war, where men were sent to a war they didn’t want to fight, all because of the government's fear of communism spreading.
