LinkWhen I first joined Flipanim (let's say about 2017-2018 on a diff account) it was a thriving community. There were posts literally every single second. Now? A wasteland. Are there frequent posters on Flipanim? Yes. However, they're all schizos and I still see the same names that I've always seen for nearly 6 years being tossed around. Ever since Flipanim was bought out by Facebook and had its logins disabled, this unique but fun website has taken a massive dive. There used to be around maybe ~5,000 daily posters, but it's been cut down to around a few hundred. So many people have quit this hellhole, and I can see why. I miss old Flipanim, and I wish it'd go back to that way.
[TL;DR: Flipanim has become a shit website with degen users)

LinkHaven't mentioned the users yet. Flipanim's userbase has become extremely depraved, insanely degenerate users who haven't touched grass in years. That's basically it. It's kind of like 4chan in a way, with it still being active, but having the same-ass degen users. This site hasn't been used for the primary goal of this website, animation.
And I think that's why Facebook is trying to kill off this website. Imagine you're a lizar- I mean, Mark Zuckerberg, and you've acquired this cool animation website for a couple hundred thousand dollars. Cool. But upon closer inspection, for one there are zero ads so you can't make any money, and two, the userbase is full of degenerates, and three, basic features on the site, such as the damn search bar, just doesn't work. Anyway, you'd probably want to either shut down the site, or let it rot and die. That's why they disabled logins, changed the posts tab to Featured first, and tried to basically hide this website by not advertising or showing it anywhere.
