As I stand here All alone I wish that I had A backbone So to that I'd Laugh freely Speak my mind And have no doubt Of any kind to not be me, I'd like to be. To be different, the same, you see? But As I stand her not alone I see the things I'd wish I'd known I see that different I am not And I'm not as hopeless as I thought. I have a kind heart I am told I have a brave mind, no-one scolds. It's not too terrible to doubt, every choice. y And most importantly I have learned I have a voice. So as I stand here, not alone, I see I do have a backbone. I do some things I'd never dare, And find it not as much a scare. I'm getting better, yes I'm sure I have good friends I have the cure.

I've been getting much better about my anxiety since I started going to my current school, and met good friends. Something I'd never had before. I'm not as terrible as I thought, and I have people I can talk to about how I feel, is what I've learned. And that's what I portray on that poem.
