Ferris wheel this is not discord 😭 But yes the i is like a small quick "ee" sound because that's where the tone lands so you make a quick pause Souvlaki is another word of gyro. But usually we confuse the terms a lot because In southern places : gyro is pita filled with tzatziki, tomato, onions, fries and meat. Souvlaki is meat on a straw. If you tell them you want kalamakia (meat on a straw, basically souvlaki to them) they'll give you literally straws 😭😭 In north places : gyro is the same thing sith southerners, souvlaki is either gyro or kalamakia and kalamakia is meat on straw, basically souvlaki. Usually the terms get confusing whenever you travel north or south so like, yeah be careful on what you say here because you might get your order wrong

Uhhh usually for souvlaki in greekglish is either written souvlaki or soovlaki so it may mean something else But asking them won't hurt

I mean. We do share extreme Christian roots and our languages is usually similar so European Spanish sound a lot like greek and vise versa so we usually get confused whenever he hear our "language" but gibberish
