Basicalllyyyyy He was raised in a home with an abusive mom and neglectful dad, so naturally he was like "yeah ok this is love", when he was in his like early 20s he met a guy who was. Dare I say worse than his parents- They got together and he was abused and manipulated for years(Markus is his best friend, was since elementary, during this relationship Toaster was isolated from Mark, and was manipulated into thinking he was a bad person by the bf) The bf ended up getting into a car crash and dying on the scene, it took toaster a little bit before being able to talk to markus again, but he still kindabelieves that "he showed me love" or "he deserved it" it fluctuates between the two

OH VINYLS BROTHER DOESNT HAVE A SET NAME YET prolly gonna call his Rodrick tho because that's his voiceclaim Uhm!! He's the older brother of vinyl, about like 5 or so years, he lived in the same house as vinyl so experienced all the same abuse vinyl did, when he was 18 he got kicked out for being reckless(he wouldn't pay rent) and all contact was cut off between him and the family, vinyl included. He felt really bad about moving out and leaving vinyl with the abuse, so he's kinda been searching for vinyl while also actively becoming a famous rockstar loved by millions, his band was the same few friends from his highschool that started in a garage so that's also like. ****in awesome I guess LMAO they're 4lifers
