LinkSome random poetic crap I made from long ago.
I am very curious to why you wrote this and your thought process behind it. I want to know what it means. I am genuinely curiousness now.
The whole poem is as follows......
You’ll find me in a parting land,
my Friend,
And together may we watch the stories unfold
from the parchment of my memory.
Sun-kissed grass, Smothered mountains,
and the glassy forever of the silent water
as it flows through forests of majesty.
All this before the end of our World,
For our victory will fade.
The lost, dust-covered Pride we’ve bound together in our Hope
will rot in the Library of Endless Ages.
But we’ve lived,
and that is our Triumph.
Try as they might;
the Shadow will not defeat us ever again.
So Converge on me,
my Enemies,
Your eyes may bore into my heart,
your teeth glistening in the dark.
I hear your claws as they click around me,
eager to do your damage,
But your howls frighten me not!
For with you by my side,
my Friend,
We shall remain locked on this path.
Fate is free to try and keep us,
But our Faith has taken up all space within my soul.
And though our World forget us,
Our bond will carry us always Home.
