Her mother was half animal, and her father was human. her mother was originally a target for her father to kill, but they fell in love, as some stories go. Then came ethan, then unity, a few years later. unity was an infant when her and her mother were captured and treated like animals. they stayed there for 10 years, unity slowly growing, and her mother suffering from a fatal disease. her mother always sat with her in hope that they would escape. she died however, when uni was 8, leaving unity for herself. unity kept the hoodie her mother gave her and cherished it. the result of her mother dying only led unity to be treated worse while imprisoned, because she couldnt defend herself. then, at age ten, ethan, her brother, who was then older, saved her and they both escaped. her father was out of the picture, for he had disappeared. and later on, kat met a woman named kat, who took them and let them live with her. of course, kat being over 200 years old, she had the body and mind of a 17 year old. so instead-
