The Candlestick is about the size of a door. When children try to sleep it silently wanders into their doorways, staring at them. There's a low chance it will devour them.

meh. it was a lot scarier in my head. i might just add that it has long legs and arms that are pushed back into the candle when it sits in the doorways. the reason it doesn't eat children much is because it only needs to eat very rarely.
