Layla giggled a bit “haha careful Shady I’m streaming!” She warned before turning back to her phone and talking to chat about Shade
“And this, Chat, is the beloved roomate Shady you’ve heard all about!” She said with a smile, trying not to notice the viewers go down a bit,
Layla wrapped her arms around Shade from behind, “so what do you wanna do today chat?” She asked “I don’t think we have anything planne
Layla watched chat, noticing afew comments saying ‘cooking stream’
“We could do a cooking stream, what do you think Shade? Wanna join us?”
"Sure" *his tail wagged a bit, thinking about the meat they could cook, then realizing that he's acting semi-submissive to a prey animal*
Layla clapped her paws excitedly, she always liked cooking streams. Though she wasn’t quite sure what they would make yet
*he personally liking meat, was wanting to cook some some deer, but left the decision up to her* "maybe a rabbit stew-" *he had an oh shit moment*

“See what we have in the fridge” Layla told Shade as she started to set up the camera on the counter
*he looked through the fridge and set some carrots, tomatoes, and celery down on the counter*
Oof I forgor about this) Layla finished setting up the camera and started looking through the cabinets for different spices
Lol it happens :] )) *walks up to the camera and turns it off, not liking to be watched*
Layla noticed after she set the spices down, chat was going crazy about how the video feed went out. “That’s strange” she muttered “Don’t worry chat I’ll fix it” she told them, walking over to figure out why it went off
Layla noticed he was uncomfortable “uh, you don’t have to be on stream if you want, I’m not forcing you to be here” she commented, hoping she didn’t sound rude in her statement
“If your fine with it” layla smiled at him before turning the camera back on and heading back to the counter
Layla started making the stew, cutting up different vegetables and adding spices to the mix, occasionally glancing up at chat and responding to a dono or reading out a sub
After a moment or two Laylas phone started to ring. “Hey shade could you grab that for me?” She asked
If you can’t tell this whole thing is a refrence to gifts cooking stream afew months back) Immediately once the call started a very loud male voice yelled “BOIL THE FCKN CARROTS” before hanging up immediately
I didn't know :] ))*he growled and crushed the phone, making a slight whimper when the glass screen shattered, the glass going into his paw*
Layla had heard it from the kitchen “oh shít- one moment chat-. sorry Shade! Coy can be like that sometimes he always does that, are you okay??”
"Yep just a little blood..." *insert blood dripping from his paw as he pulls out some glass shards* :/
Layla winced as she saw the damage. “One second, I’ll go end stream and then see if we’ve got any bandages or something”
"It's fine, no reason to stop the stream over something easy tl take care of" *casually licks the blood off his paw*
“No no, your hurt, plus a bit of you and me time away from the camera would be nice” Layla replied, whispering that second part a bit quieter not to risk the stream hearing
Layla went back into the kitchen and quickly told chat she had to end stream early and that she’d do a craftmine stream next week to make up for it, soon turning the stream off to go back to Shade
She gently took Shades paw in her own. “Are you sure your okay?” She asked, giving it a gentle kiss where the glass had priced skin
Layla glanced at it. “It’s fiiine, I can always get a new one” she brushed it off, picking up the shattered pieces to through them away when an extra sharp piece cut a small hole in her paw “shít!” she muttered, dumping what she had in her hand into the trash as she realized she’d been cut
*he grabbed her paw gently and licked the cut, his tail wagging slowly*
Layla stiffened at the sudden hug but leaned into it after a minute “haha, what’s with the sudden hug silly?”
Layla giggled a little, continuing to pet behind Shades ears, tail twitching behind her happily
(Might go to bed, feelin rlly tired) She gave him a light forehead kiss. Ruffling the fur aroujd his head and neck

Mornin) Layla nuzzled into Shades neck, eyes half lidded in a sudden burst of tiredness
*he let her and carried her over to the couch and laid down with her ontop of him*
