Lings are small creatures, around 1" to 2". Visual wise they look like a cat and rabbit combined. The things on their heads are ears and if they have multiple those are just fur. Almost every Ling has wings. They use these wings for multiple different things. Either swimming, flying, mating/attracting females/males, or intimidation.

Although they are small they aren't prey to anything. I mean some wolf or lion could eat them, but they aren't a main source of prey for any species. They themselves are omnivores, they eat many berries and plants but also eat small mice or bugs if that counts.

They use to be one small species but after humans trapped some and relocated some they started to adapt and bam multiple sub species.

Homelings are just lings that were domesticated and bred for living in homes as pets. They look the closest to how they looked long ago.

They aren't as intelligent as humans but they are smart, smarter than monkey's some would say. They can speak to humans in a small squeaky voice, they can learn a lot of things and retain the information. (Sorry if im jumping around lol)

They dont have magic or anything like that, but starlings can withstand fire and dont need to breathe to live. How starlings were evolved was humans sent some ling to space and they were stranded. Stuff happened and bam, starlings.

Lings have incredibly long lifespans, they can live up to 200 years, but most only live up to 145 as an average. The reason why is because humans apparently love to use their scales/fur as decoration/clothing etc..

Lings are extremely docile towards humans and other species, but if they feel threatened they will bite and claw you. Lings are mammals, even sealings. They can have up to six pups at a time.

For sealings, the moment they ar born they can breathe both air and water? They can go on land but they just prefer to stay in the water.

Males are usually more colorful than females. Females usually only have earthy colours but some may have deformities and be very bright, the same with male in the opposite way. Males dont fight over mates often but when they do they will flair their ear fluff up and puff up their wings. They will refrain from fighting physically.

Fur length varies, fieldlings always have fluffy fur, and sealings dont have any fur.

They can have multiple eyes or ears as deformities, but rarely never more than one or two tails.

Oh also- The starlings like to hang out on the stars and can make them float closer to the ground, they prefer staying on the stars and starlings dont usually ever get off of the star they first 'adopt' sealings hang out in kelp forests and dont usually leave other than too find a mate (in another kelp forest) Fieldlings live in holes like rabbits. Cactlings live in cactusus. Treelings live in the tippity tops of the trees. Homelings stay at home.

Good question. And answer: I would think so yes, anywhere with a large amount of trees. So yes I think some treelings would live in the jungle
