Birch sat down on a fallen log and took a bite out of a mouse he just caught.

Rube: - she licks her face clean and goes outside and sits on the fence -

A soft breeze blew past. In it Birch could smell another fox. One he couldn't recognize. He looked up at all the human houses and saw a shape sitting one one of the fences.

Rube: - she jumps down and plays with a flower -

Birch jumped off the log swiftly and quietly, he creeped closer to the fox in the tall grasses, his claws out.

Rube: - she hits the flower and it falls over and she sniffs at it -

Birch leaped into the air and landed in front of Rube," Who ARE you?" He hissed.

Rube: " I-I am just Rube! " - she fell to the ground -

Birch bit the air close to her ear," You think its okay to come around here?? This is MY territory!" he spat.

Birch turned his head," Stay out of this JAX."

Rube: " I-I did no-not know i'm very sorry.." - she backed up a little -

Birch yipped at her," Run back to your humans little KIT." He snarled at her, walking closer to her.

Rube: - she tried to jump up the fence and failed but fell -

Birch slumped back," Wow. Just wow." He turned and trotted away back into the forests.

Rube: - she tried again and made it this time she threw a chicken leg at him - " Here! Take this! "

Rube: " Rude! I'm gifting you something! "

Birch turned and looked at the chicken with a look of disgust," Thats not how foxes are supposed to eat. If you really want to know how to get some REAL food.." He swished his tail," Meet me here at sundown." He entered the woods and walked up to Jax," How much do you want to bet she'll bail?"

Rube: " Fine! I'll come! "

Birch snorted at Jax and lied down," Dang, for it being fall its quite warm..." He sprawled out in the shade.

~Sundown~ Rube: - she was waiting at her fence -

Birch stretched out on the same fallen log," So little princess you came." He jumped from the shadows into the dying sunlight.

Rube: " Yes! No shall we got to snake rocks preys great their! " - she said ready -

Birch gave her a look," Uh no. Im going to show you the BEST place for some REAL food. " He turned," Follow me."

Birch eyed Jax," You comin?"

Rube: " Ok! " - she followed keeping a fast pace -

Birch led them through the fall forest," We're going to one of the human farms around here.." He said as he jumped over some rocks.

Rube: - she did the same she hit one of the rocks and it fell and it fail on a gas puddle -

Through the trees they all saw a farm, with cows horses and pigs. The sun had set and the sky was quickly darkening. Birch crossed the road in front of them quickly and swiftly. His grey fur shone in the rising moons light," Come one you two!" He yipped

Rube: - she raced after him she cut her paw pad but kept on -

Birch gave Rube and Jax a quick nod," Just stay quiet, they have bog dogs here." He slipped under the front fence.

Rube: - she followed and smelled blood from her pad became strong -

(okay tupao! see ya!) Birch sniffed," Rube is there something on your paw?"

Rube: " I cut it.." - she whispers -

Birch sighed," Let me see,"

Rube: - she showed him a big cut was on it - " I-I feel diz-dizzy.."

Birch looked at her," lets take you back to your humans, we'll hunt some other time." He let her lean on his side and helped her across the road.

Rube: - she fell on the ground -

Rube: " No they..kicked me out they got a dog.."

Birch looked at her," R-rube?" He lifted her up and swung her onto his back, carrying her to her fence," Rube you have to get up and jump over.." He said letting her down.

Rube: " They got a dog named Fang so the threw me out " - she got off his back but then fell -

Rube: - she looks at him - " Get moss,a cob web,but wet the moss.."

Birch made her sit up ageist the fence," I dont know what to do, I dont usually hurt myself.."

" I dont know how to heal other than just to lick the wound until it stops bleeding."

Rube: " Please just do as I say.." - she licked his ear -

Birch flinched and pulled his head away," What?"

Rube: " Get a cob web! "

Birch ran to the fallen log and climbed inside, he looked around until he found some. He twirled it onto his paw and ran back to Rube.

Rube: - she took it a wrapped it around her paw and licked it -

Birch sat a little ways away," Are you okay now?" He asked.

Rube: " Ye-yea i'm just tired.."

" Okay, um...im going to go sleep now..." He went back to the log and slipped inside. Leaving Rube alone and in the open. It was night now and the only light came from the human homes and the moon.

Rube: - she dig a hole in a tree trunk and put moss down and fell asleep -
