SO HERES MY IDEA: so like this is a magical girl world n stuff. So basically every magical girl has this paint pallette with little gems. They use it to transform! everytime they beat tough opponent, they light up a gem and they get a new move. There's a big jewel in the center, and they have to like- fight this universe threatening thing to activate it or smth. Anyways, they don't know what happens when they activate it. So basically when they do, giant syringes stick into their back and inject with this like drug or smth, enhancing their performance. But, as soon as they release the final atk or smth they die!! the point is they have no idea this would happen lmao
