basing your characters off of a country flag or any flag of some sort is kinda uncreative.

unless if you made the flag design itself, that's different.

literally taking the american flag and slapping it onto a cat or wolf? uncreative

You can put country flags on like the clothes or accessories, Thats perfectly fine. but even when its like that, to a certain point of doing that, it just doesn't.. look good.?

im talking about when people literally slap, say russias flag on the hair, tail, the legs or something and its literally a gray cat and they call it creative like gosh-
