Basic info and other stuff here

Rules! 1- keep it 13+ 2- Attach an image and/or description of your character 3- Even if you do have an image, mention anything important about your character! (They have weapons, have any kinda powers ect…) 4- no killing ocs (violence is fine.)

*Please use non dragon ocs! TY!* Prompt: You're out camping, enjoying a bit of time away from their everyday worries. Suddenly your campsite starts to fill with smoke, in a bit of a panic you look around trying to find out what's on fire. Suddenly you feel a puff of hot air at your back. You turn around, at first all you see are the purple eyes, then out of the smoke rises a dragon. WWYD?

*He huffed smoke curling around him.* “What are you doing here?”

*He huffed lightly.* “It’s dragon territory, I had thought that’d be common knowledge.”

*he tilted his head at that.* “Hmm, odd. I know that the territory should have been marked in other ways; as to tell anyone who doesn’t live nearby that this territory belongs to dragons.”

*He hummed lightly in thought, seeming mildly considered.* “How close is the nearest settlement for your kind?”

*he nodded.* “would you say it’s a day’s travel or further?”

*He nodded again.* “Alright, I have another question for you. What year is it?”

*He blinked a little, being shocked.* "Are- Are you sure that's the year?"

*he blinked some more.* “No it’s just- that means I’ve been asleep for a very very long time.”

*He nodded.* “I should have waken up sooner.” *He shook his head.* “Are you aware if there are any other dragons in the area?”

*He looked concerned.* “I was- afraid of that.”

“It simply doesn’t bid well for my species is all.”

*He nodded slowly, before humming lightly.* "I do not believe we've exchanged pleasantries yet, have we?"

"Apologizes, I am Quiver. And you are?" *He tilted his head.*

"Greetings then Hatsume." *He paused thinking for a moment.* "You would not mind if I wished to join you traveling, would you?"

“Thank you. Where is it that you are heading anyhow?” *He smiled*

“Huh, I’d always been under the impression that Desmond where nothing but human folklore.” *He hummed thoughtfully.*

*He nodded in agreement.*

"All over the place, really. Mostly mountains and large forests are marked as dragon territory."

"Normally I'd agree. But, seeing as I am traviling with you it'd be like walking proof that you have permission to roam in dragon territory. I also have a feeling that much of what was once Dragon land may no longer be."

((*Traveling))

*He stretched his wings.* “If you are ready.”

*He nodded.* “If you would lead the way then.”

*He nodded his head.* "Did you conjure the portal? Or was it already there?"

*He nodded.* “It is nice to know magic is still in use.”

“Hmm odd you feel the need to clarify. I’m quite use to the use of magic, it was used often before I went to sleep.”

*A dad looked crossed his eye and he turned his head away, looking of into the distance.* “It was- for a cautionary reason.”

*He tried to look as intimidating as possible.* “Tell me what you are doing here.”

*He scoffed.* “I’ve never heard of anyone fearing to camp in dragon territory.”

*Despite trying to act intimidating he flinched a bit when they snapped at him.* “Well you should leave.”

*He raised his wings, causing smoke to swirl around.* “Because. This area has been marked for dragons only. Generations before I was hatched.”

*He seems unconvinced.* “You look nothing like any of my kind. And if you where you’d likely know my name and occupation.”

*He hissed. Clearly growing more annoyed/angry.* “ Then tell me one thing you should know no matter where you’re from IF your a dragon. Who was the main scholar during the war?”

*he huffed.* “That response only proves my point further. You are not a dragon. Now, tell me- what year is it?”

((Ight)) “If you are out camping here I must assume you live in a settlement elsewhere. Do you not keep track of the year?” *he tilted his head*

“Hmm, you’re odd. I’ve never met someone who didn’t keep track of the years.” *he hummed*

“I’d assume events on a calendar would be how, holidays and such.”

*He blinked a bit, shocked.* “A place to keep track of days weeks and years…?”

"Nor have I. I've been asleep, hence why I do not know the date." *He hummed a bit.* "Where would you say the nearest settlement is? Assuming you know the whereabouts of one."

*He frowned as he looked over that way.* "I do not remember such a settlement existing when I was last awake." *He sighed.* "Perhaps it'd be best to travel there and ask about the year. Would you mind accompanying me?"

*He followed, nothing any differences he noticed from the last time he’d been awake.* “Oh, I don’t believe we’ve exchanged pleasantries.”

*He nods and shakes Stella's hand.* "And I am Quiver."

“Likewise. So, how much further to this settlement?”

*He looked at the hill, the feathers on his wings becoming slightly ruffled.* “It is quite close then, isn’t it.”

*he hummed.* “It quite depends on how the residents react to the presence of a dragon. Hopefully there is little to no panic, I simply wish to know the year after all.”

*Quiver blinks a bit in shock, breathing out more smoke and ducking into it.*

*He stays in the smoke.* “I should be the one asking questions. For instance I’d like to know what you are doing here.”

*He shied away from the fire, scoffing at being called a beast.* “I’d hardly call myself a beast.”

*He stepped out of the smoke.* "Quiver."

*Some of his feathers ruffled, making him look fluffy.* "My name has nothing to do with my skill set, nor occupation!" *He seemed mildly offended.*

*He eyed the Glock with caution and intrigue.* “What is your business here?”

*Quiver was a bit taken aback by their reaction.* “Are you- Alright?”

*Quiver let the smoke around him dissipate.* “I have no prior knowledge of your mental state but I can assure you I’m real. If you think I’m a figment of you imagination.”

*Quiver’s eyes Bertie as he stands a bit straighter.* “What are you doing here?”

*He huffed lightly, annoyed.* “I asked you a question. Now, what are you doing here?”

((HAHA! Karma! /j)) *His face became mildly concerned when he noticed her trembling.* “Well, you’re in dragon territory.” *His voice was less stiff and harsh then before.*

((Starts squeaking like a squeaky toy)) *His claws twitched as he stepped out of the smoke, trying desperately to to seam nearly as intimidating as before.*

((Wheezes like a flipping dog toy)) *He stopped trying to come any closer, stealing and trying to figure out what she had in her hand-*

((Staring** OML))

((Continues to make unholy squeaky toy sounds)) *Quiver eyed the container cautiously, exhaling a large amount of smoke.*

((Escapes epically from the hydroelectric press and runs)) *He stepped out of the smoke, quite alarmed.* “Are you alright?!”

*He let out a squawk of alarm, his feathers puffed up. As he face palmed.* “Idiot!” *He looked around, putting her in the tent, and left, quickly returning with berries. He started the fire and began to make a kinda soup out of the berries.*

((Oof.)) *Quiver continued to cook the berries, stealing a few glances back at the tent.*

*His attention snapped over to the tent, his tail knocking over some dishes. Making them crash loudly into the ground.* “Feathered snakes-“ *He hissed lowly, looking at the mess.*

*Quiver scrambled around picking up the dishes, making a bit of noise as he did so. And mumbled to himself.*

*He finished picking up spectating what was dirty, from what was still clean. He grabbed a bowl and filled it with berry soup and put it outside the tent. And walked back, getting his own bowl.*

*He glanced back in time to see the opening of the tent move, and the bowl gone. He looked away, taking a small drink of soup.* “Tell me if you’d like more.”

((You know what, that is now 100% what it tastes like now)) *His head turned as he saw movement. He looked mildly amused as he took and refilled the bowl, then placed it back in front of the tent. Refilling his own after, and started to make more.* “I- must apologize for scaring you so badly earlier.”

*He stared at his bowl.* “It’s not, you passed out. That was- not my intent.”

*He frowned, and continued to make more soup.*

*He smiled, humming lightly (it sounded like an old folk song)* “Thank you. It’s an old recipe I made myself sometime back.”

*He looked over at her, giving her a lightly questioning look.* “And what are you doing, if you don’t mind my asking?”

*He looked lightly amused as he stirred the soup in the pot.* “How flattering, it’s nice to know that the effort I put into my apprentice doesn’t go unnoticed.”

*He contained making the soup. Adding odd looking herbs to it, and glancing at her sketch from time to time. Humming to himself lightly.* “hmm oh. I’d almost forgotten to introduce myself, I am Quiver.”

*He nodded as he took the pot off the camp fire.* “A pleasure to meet you. Would you like some more soup?”

“Your bowl please,” * He held out his claw waiting for the bowl

*He filled the bowl, and handed back to her.* "I have a question- what year is it?"

*He looked at her, shocked. His eyes wide in disbelief.* "I-" *He looked up at the sky.* "I've been asleep. That's why I ask." *He had a distant look in his eyes.*

"Thousands of years-" *He shook his head.* "So- what has changed well I've slept? Are there still knights?"

*Quiver tilted his head.* “How so?”

"f-hone?" *He looked confused as he studied it.* "And, what does your flat rectangular box do? How is it a technological advancement? Especially since it's so- small."

*He blinked in surprise and confusion.* "It sounds more akin to magic then to a technological advancement to me."

*He huffed.* "All I said is it sounds more akin to magic. Not that it was, I normally can tell if something is witchcraft or not."

*He tilted his head trying to see what she was doing.* "What are you doing?"

“Using that? How so? I assumed it’d work more like a communication spell, and you’d talk though it. But you where just tapping it-?”

*He looked unearthly amounts confused by the word 'texting'.* "Sure- But you must explain to me what 'tex-ing' is after."

"It is real-? Apologies, I do not follow." *He frowned, clearly not getting it.*

"Forgotten? How so?"

“I- see…” *He looked away.*

*He looked amused.* “Oh? How to cast it or the history?”
