So basically hes an experiment destined to go wrong. Hes an experiment conducted to try to use organic bases with heavy augmentation and an AI set to basically think for the organic base to make AI war dogs, to keep real people off the battlefield to avoid real casualties. Hes the grunt model, basically meaning hes the easiest to produce and repair, and is programmed to know this. His AI is relentless and reckless, and is programmed to take the bullet for higher ranking models and real people.

They used an organic base because it's hard to engineer fluid movement on uneven terrain, and an organic base would already have that fluid movement.
