dragonkin and felinekin technically arent voluntary things. its the delusions and mental illness for me, but i still choose to identify as dragonkin and felinekin. the labels are voluntary but the experience isnt

I think you’re hella valid but I’m kind of new to catgender , felinekin, and dragonkin. What is it if you don’t mind my ask ^^’’
catgender is a kinda broad term but it essentially boils down to seeing your gender as feline in a way. specifically im catflux, which is like,, the way you see your cat,,gender,,,ness, changes overtime and can change in intensity.
felinekin and dragonkin are both otherkin identities, with cats (for me specifically, domestic cats) and dragons respectively. otherkin is pretty complex but to boil it down it's a label that describes the experience of identifying as an animal or creature (and in the case of fictionkin, characters or fictional species) due to delusions that may include "shifts" (e.x. feeling like you might have wings or a tail, feeling or acting more like that animal, etc) or dreams where you are that creature. this is a VERY watered down definition,
