LinkYou and the mildly reclusive Ravin have been hanging out a lot recently, one night you two spend the afternoon together and then later, after you realize how late it is, you go to leave, afterwards you come back since you forgot [item of ur choice] to find him still wide awake on the couch.

"Well.. yea, I guess I accidentally left the key to my apartment on a table, but, you need to go to bed, its too late fore anyone to be up at this time"
"No, No, it's fine, I know where it is," he says, while he picks the key up off of the nightstand next to the couch
"And before I leave," he mentions, while sitting down next to Ravin "I need to know why you aren't asleep."
Ravin exhales slowly and stares down into his cup. “..I don’t like to sleep.”
Huitzil wraps one of his wings around Ravin "you need to at least try, ok?"
Ravin leans against him a bit and just is very quiet. “..I don’t like what I see when I sleep...@ he whispers
"Well I feel like I'll be here the rest of the night.. so you won't be as scared, y'know?"
Ravin looks slightly confused then smiles small. "Oh.. well.. thank you i guess?"
Ravin looks slightly embarrassed and leans against Huitzil. "..you should rest."
Ravin huffs. "..well.. fine." he closes his eyes and just stays close to him
Ravin drifts off after a bit, and literally seconds later he's tense like a statue and just, pressed up against Huitzil, his expression slightly contorted
Huitzil opens one eye and pets Ravin's head a bit and closes it again
Ravin relaxes the smallest bit, a tiny little whistle of a whimper slipping from him
"Shhh, its ok.." Huitzil whispers and he continues to pet Ravin's head
"HOLY SH-" he screams, and holds him before he could really fall off the couch, then puts him back down
Ravin clings to him for a second before letting go. "Sorry- sorry-"
He gently grabs his arm and leads him down the hall to the guest room
Ravin smiles small and slowly back out and closes the door. “..heh....”
Huitzil comes out of the room that h was in,, his har is -
Fairly messy
Huitzils phone buzzes, he checks who texted him and groans in disappointment
Huitzil sighs "Its.. my ex,, she's crazy.. I thought she would've found another man by now, guess not"
"Just asking to be back together, almost demanding, but I'm used to it by now"
“Hm.. well.. you wanna head to the Void Cafe and get some Ice cream?”
Ravin seem to perk up quite a bit and smiles. “Let’s go then, we can get ice cream and breakfast.”
Ravin gently grabs his hand and leads him out the BACK door... which, the sky is a deep violet color and the grass is a grayish brown with millions of floating islands with massive gaps between them, aka, no solid ground, massive amounts of floating islands in the purple sky. “Tada. Welcome to the void.”
"Woah.. this is.. this is REALLY cool, bro." He says, while beaming
Ravin chuckles softly. “Very cool. Now.. this way!” He then leads him down along a path towards a pretty looking cafe.

Ravin continues walking till they get there. "Here we are." he opens the door for Huitzil to walk in first.
Ravin follows him in, there are a lot of people of many different species, races, genders, and body types.
“Well. You wanna sit at a table or a booth?”

Ravin looks up. “?!” He gets up. “Oh no. Are you alright?” He’s a rather small guy and his voice has a slight vibration to it and it’s weirdly deep
“Ah uh.. I don’t like to sleep.” Ravin smiles the tiniest bit. “Well, where’s the last place you had you’re phone? I’ll help you find it.”
“I just don’t like what I see.” He mutters softly, taking a sip of his hot chocolate
He sighs. “If I tell you I promise you’ll have night terrors if your own...”
Xhanthar stared at Ravin silently, holding his pocket knife he'd left in the kitchen. "Uh- Late isn't it?"
“What do you mean? Nothings wrong.. I just.. don’t like to sleep.”
Ravins skull is genuinely harder then expected lol. “Hey! What was that for!!”
Ravin huffs. "No. I don't like sleeping. It's not a pleasant experience for me."

Ravin looks up. "Huh? Oh. I don't like to sleep."

She would gently pet his head "Now just keep thinking those happy thoughts as you fall asleep"
He's quiet then slowly relaxes, but then his body freezes up slightly.
"Its alright.. don't let the evil thoughts get to you" she said quietly
