It doesn't have to be perfect, and try to change it up a bit to match your art style once you've practiced a lot

im not very good at explaining things but i could try and give you some advice. a big thing is just observing tho and trying to impliment what you see into your art style. i honestly copied a lot ofshit early on. of course give credit if you copy or get inspiration from something

using base shapes may help you, but its not necessary if it doesnt feel right, everyone has different methods so dont worry about doing it 'wrong'. you can use different methods all in one drawing, whatever you find works for you

you dont have to do what everyone else like, do what you like, the only way you draw soemthign 'wrong' is if you didnt achieve what you wanted, not what others wanted. you can have as cartoony or realistic of an art style as you please, and art shouls be fun, never push yourself to do something you dont want

I mean,,, not really, this is just base stuff ive learned over the years aside from literally telling someone how to draw something, which doesnt work well cause people just have different styles and methods. honestly watchign speed paints of peopel I like and trying to do what they did helped me a lot, being able to see their process so i could see how they actually get things to look a certain way. always credit your inspirations, of course. but the way i personally have built up my art style is just copying different aspects of other peoples art until it all just became mine. I still do that even now, im still learning and developing my style. it takes a long time so dont feel discouraged about a slow learning pace
