No more jokes or illation.. I decided awhile ago at some point I would need to quit flipanim, I thought about it and decided ONE milestone is coming in a couple months A INTEGRAL milestone A milestone you only experience once and look back on forever THE DAY you become a adult ( depending on where you live the age changes ) turning EIGHTTEEN I said that on my 18th birthday I’ll be quiting flipanim for good And today is my 18th birthday

It feels like I’m talking about my heroine addiction or something

Your brain doesn’t stop developing until you are 21, but your 18th is the year you start being a adult It’s your BEGGINNER year of adulting Atleast in my opinion And flipanim is.. it’s always been a more juvenile site- and I think leaving at the end of my adolescence is fitting All users leave when they are ready, but IF IT WAS UP TO ME I think people should leave around 18-20 Flipanim to me should always be a site for the adolescent to learn and relate and help eachother ( and hurt eachother ) I could say all the bad things that I’ve experienced on here but I’ve probably said it all In a anim or two already I’m not a new person now or anything, I just have a lot more choices and responsibilities now

I’ve think flipanim has taught and gave me all I need about drama, envy, sadness, guilt, anger, friendship etc It’s seems lately for awhile I’ve been guiding others rather then being guided or listening A lot of people don’t make it to 18, especially children and teenagers I’m one of the lucky ones I feel as if I keep using this site, I’ll waist the most memorable and exciting years of my life away and take away attention towards others irl that may need my help This isn’t just a I’m 18 and I don’t want to risk talking to minors situation, though it’s definitely one of thes guiding reasons When you get older you have to recognize and separate yourself from younger people atleast in your close relationships and life I was never ran off this site, I was never controversial I’m sure if flipanim was as popular as it was years ago I wouldn’t get the recognition I do now it’s because of its scarcity I’m allowed this attention It’s been very flattering and nice seeing all the complements and sentiments

But things in life change, and rather then steal the spot light for younger artists and creators who are on here, that I personally have seen it’s time for me to hop off the pedestal I was only popular for around a dozen or so weeks maybe more it feels like a short time A lot of popular users get exposed later on in there internet lifesspans for a bunch of horrible reasons I’m glad I could atleast give some people hope that not everyone is malicious and gross A lot of you who are younger then me might see this and cringe and wonder why you liked this person so much or be happy that I was around and was a somewhat good role model for this site Leaving is the responsible thing to do

I’m not leaving right this second I will be on to reply to your comments when I can today But after today I won’t be coming back. I won’t post or comment anymore, follow new people or delete anything I will leave my anims up because in the future when I’m in my 20s I want to look back and see who I was But that’s if this site doesn’t die before then, and keeping a site up costs money My discord friend contacts will be removed soon if your flipanim related I only ever talked with kids in dms when it was a sensitive topic but now I don’t think having 12 yearolds in my dms is necessary or look good, but I can promise the conversations we had won’t be shared unless you make that choice yourself to do so And for a disclaimer I’m not gonna start making nsfw content or anything my Instagram and toyhouse will be kids friendly still I’D never post nsfw especially on my previous accs I’m tired now though I’m going to bed
