to start the story off i have glaucoma which means i have damage to my optic nerve (its hereditary, i didnt get abused i promise) and that means i cant raise my eye pressure or the damage will get worse. some example of things that raise eye pressure are crying, sitting on screens for too long (due to bluelight), and VR headsets (because the bluelight is extremely close to your eyes). My bsf has a VR headset and uses it often, she plays a game called gorilla tag (js tag with legless gorillas lmao) [continue]

She met most of our friend group on there. At the time, the people in this friend group were: Merchant, Bingus, Mango, (a couple other kids i cant remember the names of), and DK. Now, save the name "DK" in your head, alright? Hes practically the antagonist. One day, Bingus decided to play a prank on DK. Bingus decided he would dress up as a Red Gorilla Tag ghost (Basically a creepypasta gorilla lol) named Red in a goofy font, and scare DK with it as a joke. After the prank was played, Dk started acting weird whenever he saw the color red. [continue]

Whenever DK saw the color red, he would get all panicky and claim he had shortness of breath, and often "pass out". (I bet you can see where this is going.) He claimed over and over again he had PTSD from Red. A literal legless Red gorilla. Not to mention, Red is from a f.cking video game. DK wouldn't shut up about Red and him having PTSD, and whenever we played VR chat and someone had a red avatar on, he would faint. You see, the funny part is that I went along with it even after he left the friend group. (as a prank lmao, not as a real friend) but sometimes, I actually felt bad for him. I would often ask myself these two things; "What does this bozo want now?" and "Oh my gosh, is he actually okay?". He would sometime tel me he'd want to kill himself because he can't stand our friend group and the color red anymore. I would often back him away form it, but i was still extremely scared for him. [feedback time ended.] [continuing story...] I use Google Messages as my SMS app. Google Messages has a feature where you can see if a person has seen your messages (sort of like Imessage, but it's not text like 'Sent' or 'Read' it's check marks.) Filled in check mark means seen via notifactations. Un-filled check mark means delivered/sent. 2 filled in check marks mean both people have seen the message inside of the app. One of the times DK "passed out", I was sending him textx like "Are you okay?" "DK are you okay?" and shit like that, and guess what the checkmarks said. "Read via the app". That means he wasn't passed out. He was awake and faking it. I was done at this point, so I decided to get off for the night because it was already after midnight. In the morning, i saw texts he sent me at like 1am saying "uuggh what happend...?" like blud you cant just say "uggghh" in a text unless youre actually annoyed or smth (or roleplaying..). ANYWAYS i asked if he was okay (character limit)

--and he said "yeah i think i passed out again..." like no shit sherlock! anywayyss i had girl scouts that day and brought my phone. I decided i would put an end to this. I scowerd the internet for pictures of a red gorilla from gorilla tag and edited creepy eyes over it and sent it to him with the words "I know you're faking this dumb PSTD shit. Just...stop! It isn't worth the trouble. also i hope red comes out from under your bed tonight and strangles you <3" (insert picture of edited monkey here) and then i blocked him. this kinda sounds like a reddit story but fr, am i the asshole?
