I conducted an experiment based off of two mice and their pups and the likelihood that each of their pups would obtain a certain trait. One was light tan, the other black with white splotches. Most of the pups were mostly black with white splotches, so that was obviously the dominant trait. Very few of the pups were tan, so that trait was the recessive trait. I calculated the pup’s likelihood of obtaining each trait using a punnet square. Of course, the pups were most likely were going to gain the black with white splotches trait.
