LinkChapter 2
The New Pillar
Aqua woke in her watery den, made of lapis. She slept in a pool of warm water like all of the water dragons, and breathed in the delicious condensation. She breathed more fire into her pool of water, much like a hot tub, and tried to doze off. Then she remembered. The purple pillar. Aqua believed she was the only one that knew who was supposed to be on the pillar.
Eliast.
She was the creator of all of the dragon elements, even the ones that weren't in Kalindos. She trembled with fear, having heard of the story of Eliast. She was at least twelve feet tall, twice the size of a normal sized dragon, with enchanting purple eyes and dazzling purple scales that seemed to dance all around her body in an optical illusion. But, Eliast’s brethren, Earon, arose, evil overpowering him, and he imprisoned Eliast in a light prison, where the more she believed she could escape, or that there was justice and good in the world, the stronger the prison became.

LinkScreams echoed in Aqua’s mind, and she realized that the only way the pillar could be back is if Eliast had escaped, and if she escaped, that meant she was evil… She had to warn the others!
Just then, a shadow surpassed her door. Aqua gasped, her eyes wide, fearing the worst, but it was only her brother, Spear.
“Don’t scare me like that!” she snarled at him, her eyes Sparking with anger and annoyance. Though she was annoyed, she knew she still loved him.
“Hey, don’t mind me and my scary appearance.” He teased, knowing he was the least scary of all of the dragons she knew. The scariest? Living Shadow- by far. His malevolent eyes followed her into even the lightest of areas, and she shivered at his name.
Soon, she got up, stretching. She turned her tired eyes to Spear, blowing a wind smelling of sulfur and water into Spear’s face. She stretched her wings a little more, then shot out of the den, to the opening that was the door.
