hajime walked over to the bush and before he could lean down to get the ball he noticed nagito. " uh, did that hit you? are you okay? im really sorry if it did? do you need me to help you up?" he started to ask all these questions and pretty much forgot about the ball out of pure concern. he probably should've been more surprised by the fact he was in a bush but worry overflowed his mind and the fact nagito was hidden in a bush didn't seem to cross his mind as strange. ( sorry im not good at this ignore any spelling errors. )

hajime looked at him worried. he awkwardly took the ball and continued to question nagito. "are you sure you're fine? why are you calling yourself trash you did nothing, im the one who hit you with the ball? are you sure you dont need to be helped up?i did hit you so obviously im gonna feel bad. you dont look too great. i dont mean that like in a disrespectful way.i just mean you look really well uh beat up."

hajime sighed "i want to believe you but i still really think you arent fine-"

" you seem really reluctant to accept help? i really dont mind- do you atleast want help up? " hajime looked at the floor awkwardly he wanted to help but he also didn't want to see annoying which he felt like that's what he was doing. after all he was continuing asking the same thing over and over again. he still decided to bug him though, he was just worried.

" i really dont mind helping. if you dont want me around thats fine. sorry for bothering you.." he turned to walk back over to return the ball.

hajime turned back around confused. " i just assumed you didn't want me around sorry im kinda dumb. "

" uhh but really, are you okay? like i said i dont mind helping at all " hajime sighed he wanted to make eye contact but couldn't seem to muster up the courage to. he was nervous, but why?

" well uh,, i'll return the ball real quick. i could stop playing for now if you'd uh still like to talk? "

" i-i really uh dont think that. stop talking down on yourself- i think its pretty obvious i care,, well since i've continuously bothered you. "

hajime looked down at the ground. "i uh have to go. sorry." he rushed off to twogami. "yeah. i got it.."

" i guess? " hajime responded still looking down.

" uh yeah? just a bit sleepy i guess. "

" i mean as long as you dont mind..? "

"bye,," hajime slowly walked over the to the bush and crouched down. "hey?! nagito are you still there?" ( sorry it keeps making me comment the same thing a bunch )

hajime once again starting questioning nagito. "hey. uh anyways why are you in a bush it may be a little unsafe, also you look really beat up are you sure you're okay.?" hajime once again starting questioning nagito. ( oh okay. )

"it just seems unsafe to me? sorry if im being irrational though." hajime stopped for a minute then continued. "im just worried, thats all."

"well? do you have a place to stay?" (sorry. its a habit)

"well would you like me to stick around of would you prefer to be alone? if you dont mind i'd like to stay with you though. oh! i forgot this is completely your choice, sorry."

" i dont mind at all. if you'd like to stay outside i'll just sit out here with you!" hajime gave a nervous smile, he wanted to show he cared but he wasn't the best at it. he still struggled to even make eye contact.

"i really dont mind! i promise. i just have this feeling of comfort when im around you. sorry if that sounds weird."

hajime laughed awkwardly "yeah. im sorry. is this weird?"

"oh. well let's be weird together i guess? sorry i know that's really cheesy." hajime smiled back making eye contact but only for a brief second.

hajime blushed after noticing nagito moving closer. he stiffened up and when he tried to talked he couldn't help but stutter. "r-really?"

hajime's face was bright red and he turned away from nagito in a attempt to keep him from seeing. "well i really like being around you so i'll stay as long as you want me to."

hajime continued on still looking away from nagito. "i wish you would stop talking bad about yourself. even if you don't think highly of yourself i think you're pretty great. i know that probably doesn't mean much, so sorry."

"no its not like that. i just dont think that about you at all. it just upsets me to hear you think that about yourself."

"ah sorry? did i make you uncomfortable?" hajime still couldn't face nagito.

"ok, im not sure what to say right now, sorry im not the best at conversations-" hajime sighed. he always made it boring for people to talk to him. didn't he?

hajime got even more nervous he was completely red once again. although he was really red and extremely nervous he looked back at nagito not wanting to seem rude. he was to shy to even talk at this point. he didn't know what to say nagito was so close to him. he couldn't think properly. his thoughts where all mixed up. he couldn't even mutter a word. all he could do was sit there like a moron.

"w-w-wait nono sorry.. i uh just uh didn't know what to say sorry." hajime finally managed to talk. he didn't want nagito to leave.

"yeah. im just really nervous. sorry if that seems stupid." hajime was still bright read but was trying his best to speak normally. he didn't want to sound stupid. not around nagito.

"sorry im not really great at being er- flirty i guess?"

"ah- yeah sorry-" hajime looked at the ground once again too nervous to face nagito's direction.

"eh- i not really. i have no idea how to. i just wish i knew how to handle this better!"

hajime nervously responded to nagito. "like uh yknow- romantic stuff-? that is what's happening right now, correct?"

"oh, uh. sorry." hajime looked down at the ground. soon he became overwhelmed with his thoughts. god why do you always have to be so stupid nagito will probably never wanna talk to you again. you just made this weird. you idiot.

"yeah." hajime continued looking down at the ground. "my bad. i tend to uh be clueless in a lot of situations, i guess."

"uh huh." hajime didn't know what to say at this point he just sat there uncomfortably.

"no? not at all. i dont really care. its fine. dont say sorry."

"ok, i already told you it wasn't"

"uh huh."

"uh, why?" hajime questioned him. he was kinda feeling awkward with what just happened. he just decided to lie.

"its fine."

"is something wrong?"

"oh. its fine i guess?" hajime shrugged it off as nothing at this point.

hajime mumbled his response. "the clingy thing. its fine. dont beat yourself up about. i dont mind."

"yeah. why should i get upset? that's just irritational to get upset about something like that. so yeah, i guess i dont mind."

"well, you don't want me to be mean to you? right?" hajime sighed and looked up to make eye contact with nagito. "i constantly tell you that it's fine. so when i say it just trust me, okay?"

"did i do something wrong?" hajime questioned nagito nervously.

"you just seem reluctant to talk to me that's all. sorry."

"oh, im sorry. this is my fault isnt it?"

"you just seem like you dont want me around anymore. ever since i made that gah- that stupid assumption you seem to be really uh uncomfortable around me"

"do you really mean that?" hajime questioned nagito. he wanted to believe him for some reason he couldn't.

"oh alright. well if you really mean it i guess i'll trust you." hajime looked up and shyly smiled at nagito.

"well im glad you do." hajime said still smiling. he decided it would be best to just stop thinking about the stupid mistake he made. if nagito forgave him he should forgive himself to.

hajime didn't wanna make a big deal about it and he only got a little nervous this time. he decided to ask a question so it wouldn't get awkward again. "why do you like my company though? am i really that interesting?"

"oh. well thanks i guess." hajime smiled as well. he was awkward but he was trying his best.

"im not really sure, sorry. do you have anything in mind i much rather do what you want?."

"oh. im sorry." (gtg)
