country ppl the girl is a dog shifter the man is her father and is a human,,he's blind and deaf the girl does most of the work for survival and money but they live in an area where shifters aren't liked/treated equally so she was constantly getting harassed even if she wasnt doing anything and her father couldnt do anything cuz he never knew what was going on
