Your oc is friends with Arden (will be using they/them) and Ethan. One day, you all decided to go hiking. After a while of hiking, you find a large cave and go deep inside. Soon, you all come to two paths. Ethan and Arden go one way, and you go the other. You see the opening to your end soon, just as you hear a scream: Ethan scream. It sounded like it had come from the opening, so you rush towards it to be led into a large sort of pit. You see Ethan impaled on a large stone spike. Blood was leaking from his mouth, and his eyes were rolled back. Above was a sort of cliff, with Arden standing on it. They were shaking badly, tears leaking from their eyes as they stared in shock and fear.

Arden: "H-He slipped a-and fell.... I tried to save him b-but..."

A: "..... T-This is all my fault...."

A: "Y-Yes it is... I coulda saved him..."

A: "Thats not the same! I was right here with him! .... I wasnt fast enough..."

A: "Well **** you then!" *wiped their tears away angrily*

A: "Well its better than having to watch my best friend die.."

A: "....... Wait huh-"

A: "You're very right-"

A: "....... Yeah.."

A: *goes back into the cave and comes back out on the other side a minute later*

A: *walks behind him*

A: "...... Nah......"

A: "..... How are you able to just..... Be okay with this..?

A: "Simple please"

Okay I should've explained it better- He had fallen ONTO the spike-)) Ethan: *he wasn't breathing or moving at all* Arden: O-Oh my god....

Arden: *they nodded and ran back into the cave, within seconds they were by his side* Ethan: *his skin was cold, his pulse dropping fast*

Arden: *they pressed their hand against his neck to check his pulse, a few seconds later tears started to flow from their eyes*

Arden: *they covered their mouth to muffle a sob, gripping Ethans hand tightly*

Arden: T-This is all my fault... I-Im so s-s-sorry...

Arden: H-He slipped on the edge of the cliff... I-I tried to grab his hand, but I-I was too late... I-I can still see the fear in his eyes....

Arden: B-But it is.... H-His blood is on m-my hands...

Arden: *they shrunk back at his yelling, more tears leaking from their eyes*

Arden: ..... *they stared down at Ethans body* ... He'll come back...

Arden: Im serious.... Ethan is basically the earth. He'll be back in a week, but- *they froze* ...... We need to get out of here. Now.

Arden: We'll take him, but- *they were cut off by a sudden earthquake* !!!

Arden: *they ran as fast as they could, the cave starting to collapse behind them*

Arden: *they glanced back before getting onto Honeys back*

Arden: *they got up and pulled Honey and Ethans body farther away from the cave just before the entrance caved in*

Arden: *they jumped, and tried to move the rock*

Arden: B-But...

Arden: H-Hold on! *they lifted up the rock just enough for Honey to move his wing, then used their foot to gently nudge it out of the way before setting the rock back down*

Arden: You're welcome... Now, stay still... *they kneeled down and began to tend to his wing*
