I was 12-13 when I created this account, and nearly 19 now is bizarre. Because when you look back, it really wasn't that serious.

I don't care if anyone sees this honestly, well except for a specific person whom I went to middle school with, but either way I doubt she'll be back here either.

But let me do some life update while I'm here, shall we.

After moving from my old state into a new one, I was beyond... scared. Coming here was a literal coping mechanism (this was me being chronically online before it became a thing).

But, then I actually made new friends for once, even as an awkward teenager, made new memories, even though I clung, and still cling onto the old ones. But they seem much more distant now.

Staying in the past is always something I want to do, because I always want to relive a memory that made me feel so happy. But you can't. That's why it's called a memorable memory.

or whatever they call it.

But it's nice to go back and see what middle school me was on before I grew up into the person I am today lol.

But yes, I'm in college now, heading into my second year. And for many years I wanted to someone who worked on stage with broadway stars, and it was such a silly dream to have. A great one, don't get me wrong, but a silly one.

Going through this account, it's super obvious how much of a theatre nerd I was, not as much now. Though, I'm in love with the Great Gatsby musical. It's a banger, ngl.

But now, I'm majoring in History Education. I love history, and funnily enough, the musical Hamilton was the reason why I am so in love with history. So funny, how things become a full circle? I started with musical theatre, and that's the thing that made me want to get into something that is a literal musical lolol.

During my times in my new high school, I actually did theatre as well, like Newsies, well not really. It was 2020 and Covid hit so never got to do that, but that year was the push that made start pushing myself into roles that I enjoyed. Not that I was a main role, but pushing myself into going into things that I enjoyed. Yeah, backstage was great, but I always wanted to be *on* stage. And I did for the following years, which made me feel happy, no matter if I was good or not.

But I made new friends on there too! Yeah, it was scary as hell, but hey I did it. And yes, I was cringy as hell, but weren't we all when we were 13-14 years old?? Of course we were. Those who say they weren't are lying, especially if they were on this site (no hate whatsoever!!)

I feel like I didn't change much, I just became older with nearly the same interest that I had before. Which I'm not saying is a bad thing, it's nice to see that I didn't change that much. Maybe more emotionally mature, and a little more smart but hey it's something.

Oh!! I am actually in a relationship now. I'm pretty happy with who I'm with. He's the best boyfriend I ever had. Well, the only *official* boyfriend I had. We've been together for a year now, and it's been the best time I ever had. I'm really happy in this relationship.

I remember in middle school, I was so obsessed with figuring out my sexuality, and figuring out who I was. I figured it out, after all the many phases, and twists and turns I went through, haha! I'm a girl, she/her, and I'm just bisexual.

Also name changes, in my older posts, I don't even remember the names I went through. But it's Lance now. Not officially, but it's something I believe makes me feel myself, if that makes sense. My birth name, which isn't my deadname, mainly because I have many people use it as well, I don't have any issue with it either.

I've been through a lot of them, all beginning with the letter L. Which is funny. I remember in 2020, I wanted to be named after a crime, which I know many people out there wanted to be named Arson as well LOL. I know in middle school, I was obsessed with the name Lauren. But then changed it to Liam. Then changed it, to I think Laurence. But now, I settled with Lance. It doesn't get more uncreative than this.

But Lucrecia is a beautiful name, which I still love. I just have everyone call me Lance. Before it was because I always changed my gender identity, but now it's mainly because it's *way* easier for people to say than Lucrecia.

Now, I got on here because an old friend of mine introduced me to the site. And, it started with my love for drawing. I'm still not good at it, but it's nice to indulge in once and a while, if I had the time I would draw more often.

Not going to lie, I would've done the whole stay mysterious and just say bye, but I yap way too much and I love oversharing my life as if I'm on a facetime call with my friends.

also not that this us important but at literally 18 years old i have no idea how to drive.. that’s actually embarrassing for me because i commute to college and i need my parents to bring me there 😭

working is like the worst thing ever for me, i’ve been at my first job for three years now. Like, that was since i was 14 and now im 18. help 😪
