Now that he was strong enough and old enough. He decided that it was time to leave. But since it was dark outside and the moon started to rise into the cold, night sky, he decided to rest here for the night. And at first sun high he decided to leave. He looked at his little sister who was snuggled up in his white fur. He absolutely adored her, he really cared about his sister, even though he didn't know much about her ever since the start, ever since she was born.

He sighed and rested is heading into the straw, he sighed quietly and slowly closed his eyes. Letting sleep overtake him, he instinctively curled around his little sister, making sure she was warm. It only seemed like a few seconds since he closed his eyes that he opened them again, to the sight of a bright light. He flickered open his ice blue eyes as they wandered. In the distance he could hear murmuring, it sounded like his mother and father. "we may not be still too late, there are no signs of blood near the old sheep Shack. She could still be alive. We might have a chance of taking her back." it sounded like his mother, and it sound like she was distraught. I guess she had second thoughts about ending her only perfect daughter.

but Jagard knew that they would never love her. After the first few days they were willing to give her to him to kill! How could they ever want to reclaim her to love her? They were idiots to think that he would ever do something like that, and they were idiotic to think that he would be willing to hand her over. He growled Softly, accidentally waking little Rosa. He slowly turned his head to look at her, she yawned, her little head trembled with the effort, he could hear the faint growl of her belly, indicating that she was hungry. He decided to wait until food came before they left. But then the worst thing happened as he heard the hoof prints of his parents walking towards the old sheep Shack to reclaim their daughter.

There was no time for food, he had to get out of there and fast! Before their worried mother could prod the door open with her hooves, Jagard launched himself through the doors, and knocked his parents over, he carefully flung Rosa onto his back, and made a run for it. Since his mutation gave him canine like parts, he was much faster than his parents. He panted as he felt his paws beat on the earth, and his sister's forelegs clinging onto his shoulders. He panted, running into the safety of the trees. The parents stopped abruptly, not going anywhere near the forest, it was too dangerous for them, but a natural paradise for Jagard.

He stopped, panting, his paws stung from running a long distance on unfamiliar grounds. He sighed as he finally caught his breath, he looked around to make sure the coast was clear, and he shook out his Pelt, gently letting Rosa off his back. "b-brother?" he looked back at her, he perked his ears listening to her. " yes love?" he looked at her Softly. "I-I'm hungry.." when she said that he realized that they didn't eat yet today. Determined to get something in her belly, he looked around for any berries or leaves. He set his eyes on a fresh blueberry bush. He gently led her to it, and she ate hungrily.

He sighed realizing he was also hungry. He seemed to become attached to the taste of meat. He spotted a rabbit, and by instinct he crouched and slowly prowled towards it. After a few minutes, he launched himself from his hiding place, and swiftly killed it. Checking on his sister, who didn't mind his killing and continued eating the berries. He tore into the rabbit meat, hungrily. Both of them finish their food, and decided to keep going. She cutely crawled onto his back and he headed off. He padded looking around, he scented some creatures and looked around for any place to spend the night when it came. He sniffed an old rabbit hole, prepared to protect Rosa if anything was down there. He sniffed and sighed, scenting no danger.

He let her off of his back and they both explored the tunnels. Rosa giggled and ran around an open space a tunnel length from the entrance. Little fresh hoof prints could be seen as she bounded around in the half-dark hole. He smiled softly, and watched her play. She stopped abruptly, looking deeper within the dark tunnels. He seen that she had perked her ears to listen. He soon went beside her and went to listen as well. He sniffed and realized that he was mistaken, that they were in fact not alone in the tunnels...
