Lately was at a cafe at 12am. They weren’t able to sleep and didn’t want to be home alone. They were currently waiting to be serviced. The waitress walked to their table. “Hi, i'm Shokii, I’ll be you’re waitress today!”. Lately looked up at her. They stuttered saying “U-Uh, Hey.”. Shokii tilted her head, “Well, what will you be ordering?”. “Uh-“ Lately quickly looked over the menu again. “A coffee, black..” Shokii wrote it down in her notepad. “Will that be all?”. “Uh yeah.” She looked up and smiled, “Alright, I’ll be back with your coffee!” She said as she walked away. Lately sat at their table patiently. A few minutes later she came back with their order. “Here you go!” she said as she handed them their coffee. “Uh thanks.” Shokii paused for a second before sitting across from them in the booth. Lately just looked at her confused. She realized and then quickly explained, “You were looking pretty sad, I wanted to talk to you, plus im on break now and bored.” Lately blinked at her, and said ok. They talked ab

-out somethings for a half hour, before Shokii realized she had to go back to work. “Hey i gotta go back to work.” Lately was slightly sad but understood. Shokii wrote something and handed it to Lately before walking to serve more costumers. Lately looked at it, then realized it was her phone number. They were pretty exicted to call later, and totally didn’t have a small itty platonic crush on her totally.. Ok im ending it here smh my fingers hurt
