(jayden was a former criminal, but he became a cop for his child. his wife left and now he is an only father :)*

Jayden nodded and slowly moved forward, towards Ebony. "Can I see "he"?" Referring to the man Ebony has uh yeah.
Ebony nods. "Your looking at him. You probably wont under stand what i mean though."
Jayden slowly nodded, not quite understanding, but moving closer, his hands out in front of him. "Okay...do you mind explaining?"
"Possession." Ebony murmurs, tapping the mask. "I'm a cursed object possessing a gay psychopath."
Jayden tilted his head, "err..okay." He finally stood beside Ebony, looking at him.
Ebony looks well. Kinda tried and pretty thin, obviously there's a lot wrong here.
Jayden pointed to his car, "You need food. There's a diner not far from here."
Jayden looked around, "Well you shouldn't be here...Maybe come with me, so you can rest. At the police station or my place. You look malnourished."
Ebony sighs and pokes his finger into the keyhole of the mask and it drops and Ebony stumbles a bit. "Oh.. oh god.. oh god oh SHIT OH GOD." he sounds.. honestly different now and he seems genuinely confused.
The mask itself huffs softly. "have fun."
Jayden jumped and stood beside Ebony, holding him study. He took in how small Ebony was and felt a stab of empathy. "What the ****-" He picked up the mask and held it close, he set it back down and turned to Ebony. "Are you alright?"
Ebony nods, shivering. "I.. think so.." he pauses, going pale. "Oh wait... your a cop arent you.. gods of course he does this.."
Jayden rolled his eyes and picked Ebony up, briDaL StyLE. "I'm not going to take to the police station, calm down. I'm...a good cop, you could say." He began to walk to the car, holing the mask in one hand.
Ebony clings to him, still shaking. "I.. okay.. then.. where are we going.."
Jay quietly replies, looking around feeling odd, "My place. It's most likely the safest place for you."
"Oh.. thats.. really nice of you." Ebony sighs softly. "Also. set me down.. i can walk.."
Jayden approaches the vehicle, opening the passenger door for Ebony then going to the driver's seat.
Jayden puts stuffed animals that belonged to his daughter in the backseat, "Sorry, those are Claire's.." He snapped his seatbelt on and started to drive.
"Huh.." Ebony looks out the window. "I had a daughter.. her name was Alice.."
Jayden glanced at Ebony and turned back. "Oh.. Claire is staying with her mother right now. I can get her back,, i need full custody. Her mother is a terrible person." He ranted. "What happened to Alice?"
Ebony is quiet then speaks. "She grew up.." there's obviously more to this story but its clear whatever happened still hurts-
Jayden swallowed dryly and patted Ebony's hand. "It happens." He smiled softly then returned to driving, approaching a house.
Ebony nods then glances at wherever the heck the mask is and exhales softly. "I'd get rid of it.."
Jayden got out and opened the passenger door, not replying to what Ebony had said.
Ebony gets out too and literally almost faceplants but grabs Jayden before he falls. "s-sorry.."
Jayden grabs Ebony's arm gently and lifts him up, supporting him. "Careful." He led him to the front door and opened it.
Ebony is literally shaking- "I'm sorry.. i uh.. its been.. awhile."
jayden wraps his jacket around Ebony, sitting him on the sofa. "I'll get you hot chocolate or something...Here's a blanket." He said handing a blanket to Ebony.
Ebony nods quietly. "..thank you... so much.." he lays down and wraps the blanket around himself
jayden nodded his head and smiled softly, heading to the kitchen. He took a deep breath and ran his fingers through his hair.
Jayden came back, with a cup of hot chocolate. He handed it to Ebony and sat down on the far end of the couch.
Ebony sits back up and sips the hot cocoa, not minding that its hot. "Thanks again.."
Ebony looks a bit better. "What. uhm.. whats your name anyways..?"
Jayden sighed softly, "Jayden. Jayden Lopez. How about you?" He looked at Ebony.
Jayden turned his focus to a bunny stuffed animal, belonging to Claire..
Jayden turns forward, his hands shaking in excitement. He might get his daughter back from that cruel woman.
Triston just kind of stared "Yeah nope nope nope to many murderer vibes" He attempts to walk away.
He yelped when he was grabbed, attempting to pull his arm away "Sorry but I would rather not be murdered by a scary plague doctor in the middle of the woods, no hard feelings but I like to be alive most of the time."

"Sorry! Please don't murder me- wait so like you aren't even this guy? you're just a mask?"
"No. Not JUST a mask. I have my own body.. i just. like possessing people."
"Okay weird- So, am I NOT gonna get murdered? cause like I have places to be in like right now that don't include dying."
He scoots a few feet away the second he was let go, slowly pulling out his phone a she continued to get farther, snapping a photo as any other sane person would do when in front of a murderer before running off.
He stopped once he actually got out of the woods, feeling extremly unsettled.
He continues getting further from the woods, looking over his shoulder very often, feeling like this was just a horror movie scene waiting to happen.
He was muttering to himself trying to let himself think a bit more positively still looking over his shoulder, basically walking backwards at the point to keep a watch of what was behind him, though the only positive thought he could have at the moment was 'Hey it's fine- maybe i'll die quickly and painlessly'
Ebony hops out in front of him. "SUPRISE!" he then slashes at his face with a knife-
He screeched his sudden panic causing him to sustain a cut on his cheek as he began running in the opposite direction, panicking obviously like anybody would when they were practically just a millisecond away from death.
Ebony chases him. "HEY. WHY YA RUNNIN!? ITS JUST A LITTLE KNIFE!"
"YEAH ONE THAT WAS JUST SWUNG AT ME!" He continues running, his eyes searching for somewhere to hide or something to protect himself with.
"WHY DO YOU EVEN WANNA MURDER ME!? THERE ARE LOT'S OF OTHER PEOPLE TO KILL YA KNOW!"
He just stopped arguing back, the yelling was causing him to feel tired to quickly.
He yelps, feeling it hit his shoulder causing him to stumble nearly falling though somehow staying on his feet. He wasn't running even remotely as fast as he was at first now, contemplating giving up and just stopping.
He still continued even though Ebony could easily catch up to him at this point and he was already in a shit ton of pain.
Ebony continues to follow him then when he catches up, grabs the collar of his shirt/whatever and yanks him back. "Hello again."
He looks at him panting, being extremely tired yet still attempting to get away, placing one hand on Ebony's chest and his other on the mask trying to push him away.
Ebony tuts softly. "Aw. adorable. I'll let you take a little break." and he pushes him to the ground and sits there with him, grabbing his wrist tight.
Triston sits quietly, racking his mind for a way to somehow survive this. Tears filling his eyes a bit "****..." He mutters as he realizes he should probably actually give up at this point.
Ebony chuckles softly. "Don't cry handsome.. it'll be quick.." he wipes away his tears and removes the knife from his shoulder
He winces in pain, feeling blood roll down his back. He sniffled, very weakly attempting to push him away once again.
Ebony huffs softly and grabs his chin and makes Triston look at him. "Stop."
"Why should I?" He says, staring at Ebony gently shoving him again just to antagonize knowing he'd probably end up dead anyways so why not annoy the hell out of his killer?
"Plan b?" He asks, sniffling once again seeing as he was still crying a bit.
Ebony wipes away his tears again and puts the knife tip against his throat. "Plan b. is make this torture for you."
He gulped a bit, glancing at the knife before looking back at Ebony "I think i'd prefer plan b-" He says. "Though me telling you that means i'll probably be stuck with short and painless even if I do keep doing this-" He gently shoves him once again.
"What's with all the nicknames suddenly? I don't think I even have to understand, i'd rather live longer with awful horrible torture then end it all int he blink of eye-"
Ebony rolls his eyes. "What if. I do this hm?" and he pins him down and carefully places the knife on the edge of his eye and carefully starts to SLOWLY push it in-
He nearly screamed in pain, biting down harshly on his lip nearly causing it to bleed to prevent that from happening "T-this is s-s-still better -t-than being d-dead..." He somehow speaks through the unbearable pain.
Ebony laughs softly. "Aw. look at that. your tougher then you look!~" a dark shadow crosses his expression. "Lets see how you deal with this.." he then pulls the knife out slowly with a slight twist to it
He lets out a small yelp- still fighting to keep from screaming out to loudly, not even attempting to let out a remark knowing he'd just end up screaming in pain if he did so.
Ebony smiles then takes the mask off and a new expression crosses his face. "good lord. what am i doing."
Triston whimpers in pain, just staring at him "O-oh hi-" He says tears filling his eyes as he realized he had even the slightest chance of living now.
"Y-yeah this i-is pretty c-confusing for you I bet...C-could you please let me get up?"
Ebony gets off him and pulls him to his feet. "God.. lemme take care of that.."
He winces when he stood up, the pain from his eye and shoulder combined was nearly enough to make him wish he'd just let himself get killed quickly.
Ebony sighs and starts dabbing at his eye injury with a small piece of cotton.

"Th-thank you..." He muttered
(omg I just realized something so weird- in literally any rp i do with Triston he loses an eye or goes blind- that's probably not interesting to you but it's very odd to me)
Ebony nods quietly.

"So- why'd you put that thing on...?" He says referring to the mask.

"I don't know.." Ebony whispers. "It just kinda.. happened i guess." he then moves to start cleaning the shoulder injury.
((that or you throw him into too many rps with weird stabby people.))
"Well- I think you should destroy it or something. Ya know only cause he tried to murder me." He says.

"True.." Ebony sighs. "But if you want the truth. I'd do that too. i'm just too tired to try and kill you."

"Good to know-" He says "I guess i'm just destined to meet murderers today..." He says with a sigh "So that thing said it has a body separate from the mask, what happens to them if we were to destroy it?"
"I don't really think anybody deserves death- even though i will agree on the jerk part." He says, very gently tapping the area around his hurt eye trying to see how bad it was.
"Well we'll just have to agree to disagree. So what even happened to the mask, i didn't see where it went after you took it off?"
"I-" He just stares at it "Why in the world would anyone put this thing on ever?"
"Well- I think I've changed my mind about destroying this for the most part. Think it'd be fine if I just kept it? Assuming you don't want it anymore." He says.
"Uh. No. don't keep that. Xenos will track you down and rip out your insides."
"Hmmmm, yeah never mind I'm pretty sure he'd do more than that...I feel like I pissed him off when he was about to murder me-"
"Thats exactly why i said that. normally he'd just make a persons life hell. but since he hates you. he's gonna kill you if you do."
"But I don't wanna destroy it-" He says before just shoving the mask in his bag "I'll just get rid of it later I guess-"
Ebony rolls his eyes. "lemme see it. imma show you a trick in case someone puts it on."
Ebony pulls out a knife and traces the crack up the right eye with the knife. “Just trace the crack and it’ll fall right off. And no. You don’t have to use a knife.”
"Cool- Thanks for the tip" He says before yawning a bit, putting his hand out to get the mask back.
He puts it back in his bag "Well uh- I'm gonna go I guess, and hopefully not get hunted down and murdered." He says.
"Thanks. I'm definitely gonna need it..." He says before turning to leave.
As he walks off, he pulls out the mask once again to inspect it finding it a bit interesting.
He fiddled with it a bit studying it, stopping as he arrived to his apartment complex, entering his home placing the mask on the desk in his room for the time being.
He plopped down on his bed with a huff, not paying much attention as he yawned being very tired. "A day of escaping death and keeping a weird possessed mask" He says to himself.
He looked at it "Oh of course it creepily glows AFTER I put it in my house..." He says as he sits up.
He groans and stands up walking over and hesitantly grabbing the mask.
He stares in confusion "Maybe I really should have burned this thing...." He says, shoving the mask in a drawer instead of on the desk this time.
"Oh shut it-" He huffs and sits on his bed once again, laying back with a yawn.
He stares at the drawer he'd put the mask in for a moment before deciding to ignore it, shutting his eyes for a moment.
He stayed asleep only turning a bit at the noise of his window opening.
The man sneaks on over to his bedside and grabs his shoulder. "Wakey wakey..~"
Triston opens his eyes a bit attempting to sit up "Well shit- that was quicker than I thought."
"Sooooooo i'm assuming you're here to murder me because i'm an idiot and kept that mask thing" he says, attempting to stall as he tried scooting far enough away to have a chance to run for the door.
He attempts to pull his arm away, knowing it'd be useless to do so.
Tiki: ...Are you ok? *she approches cautiously* You're acting strange.
Ebony: *he rolls his eyes and nods* Yeah. But don't call me Ebony. I'm not going by this morons name.

Tiki: ...what do you mea- *sudden relisation* Ohhhhh ****kkk-
Tiki: DAMMIT! *she springs upward (cause she part kangaroo) to dodge him and lands behind him* Shit. *her wings are spread and she is about to fly*
Tiki: *he momentarily distracts her* Does it really matter if I'm tryna stay alive-!
Ebony: Yes. yes it does. play fair and you live longer. cheat and I'll just kill you the easy way.
Tiki: *she turns around* Now tell me, is jumping cheating, or is it fair game?
Tiki: Ok, good to know. *She starts running in long, bounding steps away from him*
Tiki: *she hears him and sees him catching up* Holy Shit he's fast- *she speeds up, but isnt full sprint yet* ((her full sprint is like, 40-45 mph like a real kangaroo over maybe one or two miles. rn shes going like 25))
Tiki: ****- *shes jumps upward*
Strings: *just hanging out in a tree and sees her with Ebony on her back* Tf-
Ebony: *clings to her back and shanks her in le back of le neck* HAH
Tiki: *she holds back the urge to screams bloody ****ing murder* Ack-! *she lands on her side which knocks off Ebony, but the knife is still in her neck* *she drags herself over to the bottom of the tree that Strings is in*
Strings: OH shit-
Ebony: *rolls to his feet and giggles and runs back over* HAHA. this is so much more fun then stabbing people!!~
Tiki: *she cant speak because he severed her vocal cords* hhhkkggg- (Translation: W-what do you mean?)
Ebony: Most people keep running. *he pulls out the knife* but you? meh. *he then slits her throat*
Tiki: Gak-! *she grabs her throat* *her eye glow green and she produces just enough green fire to keep her self alive, but it doesn't heal, and it hurts a lot* ((The fire comeing up her throat is keeping her alive but there's not enough to heal her))
Strings: !!! *she jumps down from her tree* **** you man!
((she is able to shoot strings out of her wrist-think spider man- and control them))
Strings: *she shoots strings at him which tie him to the nearest tree*
Tiki: ! *she frantically points at the mask with her other hand*
Strings: Oh, so its the mask huh? *she walks over but stays a good 5 feet from him* Hmm...
Ebony: *he growls* you little- *he says a few horrific swear words in other languages*
Strings: Hmm... Lemme try- *she covers the entire mask with strings then makes them go downward*
Strings: *the strings 'let go' of the mask* Hmmm... Tiki, are there any flaws in the mask I should know of?
Tiki: *she thinks for a minute then points to her right eye with her free hand, because she remembers a crack over the masks right eye*
Ebony: *he's breathing heavily, blood dripping from under the mask-*
I didn't mean for the strings try to pull off the mask, more like, just sliding over the surface of it))

Ebony: Let. my hands out of this.. and I'll show you how to take this stupid thing off. i'm done here.
Strings: *is slightly skeptical* fine- *she loosens the strings around him just enough for him to get his hands free*
Ebony: *he pulls out a knife and stabs himself in the eye and the mask drops and Ebony goes limp*
Strings: O-O Oh shit I was not expecting that- *she kicks the mask away and goes over to Ebony and unties the strings and carefully lays him on the ground*
Tiki: !!! *She drags herself over to ebony and Strings with her free hand*
Tiki: *glares at the ****ing mask then looks back at Ebony*
Strings: ****, Tiki. Lemme heal you. *she produces some green strings outta nowhere and presses them on her throat and neck wounds whhich start to heal her*
???: *The mask just glows a bit and rolls away and some dude picks it up*
Ebony: *just.. limp*
Tiki: *she is fully healed now but still hurts a bit* Shit. That mask was brutal to him. *her eye glows green and she breaths a slow, green fire all over him to see if that will wake him up*
Strings: *sees the guy pick up the mask and stares at him outta the the corner of her eye*
Ebony: *he twitches and slowly pulls himself to his feet.* h-hngn..?
???: *the mask burns him when he touches it but he walks off with it*
Tiki: *there is are nasty scars where her wounds were, and her voice is glitchy* Y-your up-p!
Ebony: o-oh.. oh god.. oh god.. what the hell did i do this time...

Strings: Is that who that was? *she looks in the direction the guy walked off in* The guy that walked off with the mask? Imma go get him. *she creepily smiles and runs after him*
Tiki: ... *she stands up and leans on a tree* Why did you put on the mask?
Ebony: I.. i don't know...
???: *hes walking with the mask, which is BURNING his hand-*
Strings: *she is in the trees above Xenos and puts some invisible stings in front of him to trip him (think fishing line)*
Tiki: ... *is just leaning against the tree*
Xenos: *he continues walking then trips on the line and drops the mask* SHIT!
Ebony: *quiet*
Strings: *she jumps down from the trees and lands in front of him* *she picks up the mask and ties him up with the invisible fishing line stuff and legit drags him back to where Ebony and Tiki were*
Tiki: *Stares at Xenos*

Strings: Whelp, Ima go now. Have fun being tied uppp~ *she races into the woods the changes direction towards her house so no one sees where she lives*
Tiki: *turns to Ebony* ... uh, you wanna come to my place for the night? It's closer.
Ebony: Nah.. I'mma stay here and murder this son of a ***** *smacks Xenos*
Tiki: *yawns* Suit yourself. *she walks off in a random direction then once shes far enough in the woods her eye glows blue and she pauses* why tf didn't i teleport away earlier... *she teleports to her house*
Tuko: *is asleep in his room*
Tiki: *she goes to her room then colapses on her bed, asleep*
Strings: *falls asleep on her bed, which causes the strings around Xenos to loosen because idfk*

Ebony: Yeah. you can damage it, it'll hurt Xenos, but he deserves it.
Xenos: *appears nearby, blooding and bruised-* OKAY OKAY JUST STOP!!
