Coal: *LED suddenly turns an alarmed amber, ready to find their target as they had be trained to do in the Force (I'm guessing that Coal is used in the police/army force but Idk yet), stalking toward a quiet whimpering sound around the corner*

(They have inner ears that can pick up sounds through their body but they have no need for them on the outside soooo... No? But for this they can have 'em ^0^)

Coal: *lets out a small chitter (???), a low purr sounding as they crept slowly around the corner, eyes darting over the room*

Coal: *suddenly hisses as they spot a silhouette in the darkness, lowering their body until they were almost on the ground before lurching forward but not close enough to strike, only close enough to scare the creature*

Coal: *takes a few steps back, impressed and concerned at the creatures aggressiveness, lowering his body to the ground once more to let out a loud hiss, raking his front claws along the ground*

Coal: *suddenly takes a single stride towards the creature so that they stand just over a meter apart, emitting a piercing scream that ends in a high-pitched snarl, their LED finally glowing red as they have spotted their target*

Coal: *hesitates for several seconds, looking over the creature then stepping back slightly, concluding that there would be no point in attacking them. He then proceeded to weave himself around it, making sure to give it a teasing hit with their tail, and pad along the dusty ground*

Coal: *instantly perks up his head, hearing a loud thud from above them, turning around to face Jaws before padding along at a slightly quicker pace, their LED now back to it's amber state* (at some point they will speak, I promise XD)

Coal: *checks to see that Jaws is still following them, being mildly reminded of the dogs used in the same force as he and how they used to follow him around, then strides along, waiting for another sound to help him find his target*

Coal: *chirps, weaving between cracked ceiling panels and boxes while making their way toward a staircase, scratching the carpeted steps a few times then slowly accending up them, purring and growling every once in a while*

Coal: *gently knocks Jaws to the side, not enough to hurt them, then stoops low to the ground, scanning around the hall before leaving the steps and sniffing the air, letting out a quiet snarl in annoyance at the disappearing target*

Coal: *emits a guttural growl, almost as if daring the creature to come out*

Coal: *turns in the direction of the squeak, and unexpectedly speaks in a staticy, robotic voice, drained of all emotion* ... Come out...

Coal: *waits patiently*

Coal: *in the same emotion-drained-robotic voice* Because otherwise I will do what I've been trained to do, *takes a long stride forward* find you, chase you until you collapse and possibly kill you if I find reason to do you. If you come out, *stands in a taller posture, still darting his eyes over the room* then... I wont do any of that.

Coal: *cocks his head to the side, trying to remember* I do not know of your species... I was trained to find, track, hunt and kill if necessary. I was created to help officers and soldiers find criminals, moles in the system or just lost soldiers in war, luckily I've never had to be in that situation... Yet.

Coal: Doesn't give you a reason to not come out for us to see you. *hisses slightly, lowering himself to the ground once again* I wont hurt you... Can't say the same for this... The soldiers did not program the name of this creature into the translator.

Coal: You are hurt. *says the statement simply and sharply, making no attempt to go near the creature* What is your name?

Coals: *purrs quietly, their LED finally flickering back to a calm blue as they made their way quietly and slowly toward the figure, giving them a once over before turning on their heal back to the staircase*

Coal: *turns head slightly, narrowing their thin eyes and flickering their LED amber* Where did they go? *glances over to Jaws to see them gnawing on a bone, sighing* I wonder where you came from anyway...

Coal: You're a great help, aren't you? *hisses loudly and harshly before going eerily silent* (I'm expecting Misfortune to appear at any moment and just be like 'Oh Hell000 there~)

Coal: *shakes his head, growling lowly, though his LED returns to blue happily as he takes several strides towards Jaws* What do you say we find a way out of here, hm?
