“Found it!” Clay shouted, causing Gregory to jolt upright. He shook his head a bit trying to keep himself awake, as he watched Clay approach with a gift box in one of his claws. “Sorry that took a bit, the scavenger sized watches are harder to find. Your just so small!” Clay said before placing the gift box in front of Gregory. “I’m not small!” Gregory huffed; he could basically feel Clay playfully role his eyes as his attention fell onto the gift box. “So that watch thing is in this gift box?” the child asked, as he took the gift box that was presented to him. Clay nodded his head eagerly, “Yup! You just have to turn the crank to open the box”. Gregory nodded as she began to wind the gift box, “So, how’s this meant to help?” The box popped open revealing a watch that looked vaguely like Clay’s face. Except box shaped and with a screen in the center.

“Simple! I can send you messages to the watch, there’s also a camera and microphone I’ve connected to so I can help guide you!” Clay paused briefly, looking as if he was trying to remember something, “Oh! And it lets me see what your doing or where you are. Here, I’ll show you the messaging part… there! Check your messages”. The scavenger child put the watch on before tapping the screen. Quickly skim reading the message Clay had just sent him, before he noticed the time, 11:50. “Clay when do the doors close?” he asked, his voice full of urgency. “At 12:00 AM, why?” Clay tilted his head after asking. “I need to get out of here! Duh!” Gregory crossed his arms, giving Clay a mild glare. “Right! Well my door’s closed… But! There is a vent in the backroom, I think you may be able to fit…” Clay was cut off as the door to his room opened.

“Clay,” Tsunami started, in her ‘I’m the boss’ voice, “Vanessa said there’s probably some scavenger child running around backstage, and asked that I… tell… you…” The animatronic seawing blinked having just noticed Gregory- who at some point hid behind one of Clay’s front legs. Tsunami pointed a claw at Gregory, “Clay, explain now”. “He was hiding in my chest hatch and we were just about to try and get out of my room when you opened the door,” Clay quickly summarized as Gregory tapped his foot impatiently. Tsunami let out an exasperated sigh, “Just get the kid out before the doors close. Take the maintenance tunnels, they'll be faster, and don’t let Vanessa see you. If she does she’ll flip her lid,” her attention turned to Gregory, “And you, don’t give Clay any trouble”. Gregory crossed his arms, “I want out just as much as you want me out”. The sewing animatronic rolled her eyes and left, leaving the door open.

“Okay,” Clay moved back from Gregory and opened his Chest hatch, “Hop in, it’ll keep you hidden if we run into Vanessa, and should be faster”. He smiled. Gregory huffed, “Alright, but you better be careful”. He climbed into the hatch and mumbled, “I don’t wanna be twisted, and grinded into a meat pretzel”. The hatched closed, and the screen from before flickered to life. It was then that how terrifying the situation was hit Gregory. His watch buzzed, looking down he had a new message from Clay, “Are you alright?” it read. Gregory lightly hit one of the sides of the compartment, “I’m fine, lets just go!” With that Clay started moving, and Gregory was quick to realize just how different it was now that Clay was moving by his own devices, between when he was being moved off stage by some form of staff. With Clay moving, he was being jostled around a lot more.

Clay turned and started down some stairs, and Gregory quietly yelped. His right cheek started to sting. He bent up part of a pipe cleaner, possibly some kind of leftover decoration or just cleaning, he didn’t care. It just hurt. The animatronic mudwing stopped, “I can feel you’re hurt! We should stop at a medical station”. “No! We don’t have time! Besides, I'm fine.” Gregory hissed. “It’ll be okay, we have enough time I promise!” Clay turned a corner and up ahead what looked like a photo booth, with a medical sign, could be seen. Gregory looked at the watch he was given, 11:55, he really hoped they had enough time.
