Tord stared at his bloody hands with an empty look.

He glanced over at Tom, “Do what..?”

“I know.. he had the right... they can do whatever they want to me.” He said simply.

“He does... he can do whatever he wants to me..”

“I-I’m your friend..?” He quietly said with emotion.

He weakly smiled at him, bruises and scratches covered his entire face.

“T-thanks..” He said quietly as he rubbed his hand through his dirty hair.

“Yeah.. I didn’t kill him but he could wake up any minute..” He got up with a limp in his foot.

“Nnghh.. think I sprained it..”

“Thanks Matt..” He smiled.

Tord chuckled. Edd went over to help Tom up, “Looks like we’ll be taking care of you two for awhile.”

Edd chuckled as he helped him up again, placing his arm around his shoulder.

Tord chuckled, “we have be broken foot buddies if you want Thomas.”

He smiled at him smugly.

“Oh I am, that’s why I’m calling you by your full name.. it’s more respectful.”

“Eh.. not really.”

“Well I can call you whatever I wish, would you rather have me call you Tommy?”

“Tommy it is.”

Tord and Edd both chuckled.

Tord continued to laugh at him.

Edd tried to keep Tom in his grasp. “I’d like to see you fight with a broken foot.”

He continued to tease him.

“I remember when we were little everybody called you Tommy,” he teased.

“AGH! Tom stop it!” Edd grunted.

“Tommy.” Tord smirked.

“OW!” Edd let go of him accidentally.

Tord began to panic, “Oh shi-“

“oW STOP IT!” He bit his arm.

He continued to bit his arm, ignoring the pain.

He let go of his arms, “Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!” His voice cracked in anger.

He crawled away from him quickly.

He looked behind him and noticed Tom crawl-chasing him and began to panic.

“HOW ARE YOU SO FAST WHAT THE HELL-“

Tord screamed in fear.

He began to scream words in Norwegian in complete panic, “ han kommer til å drepe meg oh gud hva gjør jeg?!”

“AGHHHHHHH!” He screeched in pain

“THAT HURTS STOP IT!” He kicked him in the face with his other foot repeatedly.

“HEY!” He growled.

“Would you stop biting my shoe..”

He growled. “Oh my god you two act like children..” Edd huffed as he finally broke them apart.

“Matt, a little help here?” Edd said.

Edd grabbed Tord and threw him over his shoulder bridal style.

((Oop Tord glared at Tom with his one eye angrily while being carried.

He looked away from Tom as Edd carried him.

Tord laughed at Tom.

((I know lmao Tord and Edd both stared, Tord snickering.

“OH SHI- EDD RUN!” Tord’s voice cracked as he yelled.

Edd’s eyes widened as he began to run with Tord in his arms.

Edd began to run faster, Tord screaming.

The ran out of the building into the forest, Edd was careful not to trip on any branches or rocks.

Edd continued to run in fear until he tripped over a rock, dropping Tord, “oOF-“

Edd panicked as he also fell, right onto his stomach with a grunt, Tord wasn’t as lucky as he fell on his arm.

“aGH- MY ARM!” Tord screeched in pain.

Edd sat up in surprise.

Tord sat up, gripping his arm in pain. This couldn’t be happening, first his eye now his arm, it was just like old times.

“Nngh.. I did something to my arm.. it hurts but.. i can’t really feel it..” He grunted.

“I don’t think any of you know much medical stuff..” Edd nodded, “Yeah.. I’ve never really been into that stuff so I wouldn’t know.”

“I think I’ll be fine for a while..” He got up, gripping his arm while grunting in pain.

He huffed, “I’m not sure..” He didn’t want to admit that his arm would probably have to be amputated... again..

He looked off to the side sadly, “Alright..”

“I don’t know of any hospital near here..” he mumbled.

“I really don’t think we’re going to find any sort of place like that in the middle of nowhere.” Edd huffed.

Edd heard Tom and punched him softly, “Shut up.”

He growled, “Anyway.. aside from Tom’s usual rude behavior.. I’m sure there’s a way that we can check it out out here. Neither me, Matt or Tom have any experience with this stuff but we can try.” He smiled at Tord reassuringly.

“Alright.. we should start before I beat that crap out of Tom..” Edd suggested.

“Well first we should just move his arm around a little.. make sure it’s not broken. Tord can you move your arm?” Tord tried to lift his arm by itself but he couldn’t even feel it, it felt like nothing was there. It felt numb.

“No it just.. went numb.”

“Guys.. I don’t want to admit this but.. I think we’re going to have to amputate it...” He murmured.

“No.. I don’t think we can Tom..”

He looked at Tom blankly with his one eye, “No we can’t. It’s no use. These wounds are a curse.. I always have to be reminded of my past.” ((I gtg hnngh I’ll be back in a bit.

Tord frowned down at his arm that laid limply at his side.

Tord shook his head and placed his other arm on Tom’s shoulder gently, “No we can’t Tom..” He mumbled quietly.

“I don’t think I broke it.. I’d be screaming on the floor in agonizing pain if I did.”

“I just fell on it in a weird way and now I can feel it or move it..”

“That only leaves one option. Amputation. But there isn’t a hospital anywhere in sight or anywhere even close.

“You literally just said there’s no way we can.” he narrowed his eyes.

“Ohhhh...”

“Yeah.. that’s true..” Tord stood up shakily, his arm flopped against his side like a limp sausage.

He followed, his legs shaky as his arm hung at him side.

Edd allowed Tord to lean on him because of his limp, “Well.. not really.. we don’t have a map.” Edd said.

Tord thought to himself, these wounds were a curse. He was Red Leader.. but he didn’t want to be.

“You sure?” Edd said, raising a brow.

“Alright.. I’m trusting you.” Edd said as he began to walk on that direction slowly.

Tord continued to lean against Edd while limping, thinking to himself quietly.

He smiled weakly at Tom, knowing that wouldn’t be true.

“Eh..”

“I really don’t know..” He didn’t want to admit to Tom that his injuries were basically a curse. He had always been destined to be Red Leader.

“No.. it’s fine..” He mumbled quietly.

“It’s fine.. I’ll be fine.” He looked away.

The group continued to walk until they finally made it out of the forest, back into the small town.

“Huh.. you’re right..” Edd mumbled.

“Well.. we should hurry..” He said as Tord leaned against him, grunting.

Edd nodded, “Let’s go inside..”

“I’m okay..” Tord grunted.

“It still feels numb...” He mumbled.

Edd shrugged with a concerned look.

Tord glanced away in doubt as they entered the hospital.

((I can lmao Edd explained to the doctors everything that had happened up until his arm, the doctors looked at Tord in concern and fear as he immediately got him into a patient room, examining him. They forced Tom, Matt and Edd to wait in the waiting room.

Edd nodded. The doctors examined his arm and eye in concern, the looks on their faces worried Tord.

Edd was silent, he looked unsure. The doctors removed the bandages from his eyes and tested his arm, coming to the conclusion that the blood had been cut off from his arm for too long and his nerves broke. It had to go.

Tord knee this was going to happen but he wasn’t emotionally prepared as he burst out into tears, they said he was completely blind in his eye but he had the option to keep it in which he did, the eye looked faded and white so they covered it with an eyepatch.

The doctors kept him out, explaining to Tom that they had to remove his arm.

“If we don’t amputate it now then his nerves could get worse, the blood is cut off from his arm and if we don’t remove it his might loose control of other body parts.” One explained.

“It’s very hard to explain.. the way he fell on it did something odd.. we really don’t understand what but if we don’t amputate it now you’re friend could become crippled or even die.”

“No.. we’re very sorry.. it’s the best we can do for him right now.”

They went back into the room, preparing for the amputation.

Edd pat Tom on the back, “Tord will be fine.. don’t worry.” He reassured him. They knocked Tord out with anesthesia and sleeping gas so they could preform the surgery.

Around an hour later they allowed the three to come into the room to see Tord, he was still on anesthesia so his brain was all over the place but his arm had been properly removed.

“Mm.. hey guys...” He slurred his words slowly as he noticed them walking in.

“I feel kinda sleepy but besides that I feel fine..” He mumbled.

“Okay..” He said tiredly as he plopped his head back down onto the pillow.

Tord had already dozed off, anesthesia hit him HARD.

Edd chuckled and nodded.

Edd followed, “So Matt... what the hell do you mean by trying to get Tord a new arm..?”

“Ohhh so like a prosthetic arm..!”

“That’s actually not a bad idea Matt.. for once..” Edd complimented his ginger friend.

Edd chuckled.

“There has to be some way we could find one or make one..” Edd thought out loud.

“Hey.. didn’t he have a robot arm prosthetic he kept in his room before he left? It was suspicious and I’m guessing it was some sort of prototype arm for his giant robot but.. do you think we could use that?”

“Maybe we should go grab that..!” Edd suggested. ((Awww oki :(

Edd followed closely behind him.

Edd bumped into Tom as he slowed down.

“Where do you think it is..?” He asked as he stepped inside.

“It must be somewhere..”

“Tom, if you’re going to make a huge mess it’s your job to clean it up after.” Edd huffed.

“Well.. okay yeah actually making a mess might be the quicker way of finding it..”

He also made a mess as he looked for it.

“oW!” He rubbed his head.

He continued to search until he finally found it, “Aha!”

He pulled the red robot arm out of a pile of Matt’s junk.

Edd shrugged.

“Yeah Matt.. why did you have this in here anyway?”

Edd rolled his eyes, “Alright then.”

“Hm?”

“Oh.” Edd frowned, “Well we should get this arm back to him and surprise him!”

“Alright! Let’s hurry back!”

Edd followed, holding the robot arm under his arm gently.

((lmaO They arrived back at this hospital.

They waited inside for Matt then headed up to the room Tord was being kept in.

They entered the room, Edd lightly knocked on the side of the wall to alert Tord they were coming in.

“Sooo... Tord we got you a surprise...~” Tord raised a brow, curious.

He showed off the robot arm, “TA-DA!” The memories of the giant robot attack and everything he did flooded his mind as he stayed silent, staring down at it.

“R-really..? Y-you’d do that for me..?” Tord asked as he stared at the red robot arm.

He stared up at the three, who were smiling at them. He smiled weakly back at them, “Y-yeah..”

Tord hugged him back with his one arm, Edd also hugged him.

Tord chuckled as they all hugged him.

((Yes 🥺 I kinda wanna draw this scene now lmao I probably will later “Y-yeah.. thanks guys.. this.. this means a lot..” He started tearing up happily.

He smiled, “Hopefully the doctors know how to put on a prosthetic arm..”

“True... but this isn’t really any normal prosthetic.”

“I’m sure they’ll be able to do something with it though.” He smiled reassuringly.

The doctors walked in.

One of them raised a brow and examined it, “If we fixed it up a little I’m sure it could make use as a prosthetic arm.”

“We should have it fixed up by tomorrow, then we should be able to attach it.”

“He can go home if he’d liked, just keep an eye on his arm and clean his eye wound every hour.” The doctor told them.

The doctors nodded as they helped Tord get up from the hospital bed and got him dressed in his normal attire.

“Yeah..” Tord said as he finished putting on his bright red hoodie.

Tord followed Tom, Edd walked beside him, helping him out,

“Hey it’s alright. It was my fault I tripped.” He chuckled.

“Oh shit.. that’s right.. your foot.. don’t worry Thomas I’ll look at it.”

“I’ll call you what I want.”

‘Okay Tommyl” he teased

He giggled childishly, “Oh come on.. lighten up a bit.”

“Don’t call me that Tommy!” He growled.

“Don’t you dare.” He narrowed his eyes angrily.

“SHUT UP!” He yelled angrily.

“NO!”

“NO!” He growled.

“AGHHH! NOOO!”

“GRRR.. NO!”

He punched him in the arm angrily, but with how little he had been eating and the fact he was still weak from the hospital surgery, it felt as if a baby had punched Tom.

He continued to baby punch him.

Before Tord attacked Tom, Edd broke them up, “You two seriously act like children!” He huffed.

He growled, “If I had my new arm right now I’d be beating the crap out of you..”

He growled, “DONT MAKE ME TRY RIGHT NOW!”

“STOP CALLING ME THAT!” He screeched angrily, after an hour of teasing and fights they finally made it back home.

Edd realized that Tord wouldn’t have anywhere to sleep for the night so he came to the conclusion that locking Tord and Tom inside of Tom’s room would help them get along, plus Tord could just sleep on the ground in there.

“Up to you,.” Tord said as he finished setting up the stuff for cleaning his eye patched eye.

“Well I don’t trust Matt making popcorn again..” Edd said as he flipped up Tord’s eyepatch, cleaning his eye with a wet cloth gently.

Edd chuckled as he continued to clean Tord’s eye.

“Nah.” Tord mumbled through Edd smothering his face.

“Anddd.. done!” Edd finished cleaning Tord eye as he put the eyepatch back on him.

Edd grabbed the remote as he flipped through movies, “Hmm.. what should we watch..”

“YES!” Tord yelled then coughed, “Ahem.. I mean. Yes.”

Tord chuckled as he excitedly waited for the movie,

Tord squealed excitedly.

He looked like and excited kid. ((I gtg😔 Cya tomorrow

“Hm? O-oh yeah! Sorry I’m just excited I never got to watch the sixth one.”

“Yeah! Don’t eat it all!” He whined.

Tord also ate some.

Tord watched excitedly as he and Edd both munched on the popcorn.

“Thank you.” he smirked smugly at him.

He glared as he kicked Tom in in the face with his foot.

He chuckled.

“Ow!” He growled as he began to repeatedly kick Tom softly on the face with his foot.

He chuckled evilly as he continued to kick him.

He flipped him off angrily.

He turned away and continued to watch the movie.

He grumbled to himself angrily as he watched it.

After an hour the movie was finished.
