((I just realized I've been using he/him pronouns instead of they/them They had also went to the self-checkout. They hated going in the checkouts with the people scanning the items. It was probably because of their anxiety being around people, so they liked the self-checkout better. They noticed Akemi also at the self-checkout but he looked in the opposite direction.
