I like it a lot! You can almost hear a heartbeat ( or is that just me lol).
The color change is a nice though, and it seems very smooth.
I'm not sure I have criticism. :P XD

If you're trying to make it similar to a human heartbeat, then make it more sudden, but still pattern-like. Many other animators have created animations of blinking eyes with this similar trait. If you want to keep it abstract, though, keep doing what you're doing.
