i love making /people/
societies, races, religions, and all the pros and cons that come with it
i love making character and using people ive met for the characters
i love making unique people with beliefs and faults and talents and all the boring parts about them too
i love making creative ideas and drawing them and building it out
i hate that i cant stick to a project
i hate that i dont know more people to make characters
i hate that i have no motivation
i hate that my friend drained all my excitement for writing and now ill only write for an english assignment and i feel left out in a writing group because theyre talking about stories that i gave up on
why am i even in that group anymore
why dont i leave
why dont i give up
i should stop writing
im not smart or creative or anything anyways
music is my... forte (pun intended), not writing
ill let Mags do the writing. ill just. wear makeup and dresses and sing and be lonely and sad

you can't give up because everyone started somewhere and a lot of successful, "talented" writers had first works that would make EL James look like a writing goddess
all you have to do is keep writing. Write as often as you can. There are a lot of things that will fall by the wayside, a lot of projects you'll never even get close to finishing. But someday there will be the one. The one that you start and stop and start and stop and drop and pick up again and eventually finish.
Short stories might help boost your confidence, and they give a chance for more practice with ending things, not just beginning things. Not everything is a novel in waiting, you know? Some things are short stories, some things might be a series of short stories, some things might be novellas, and you might come up with an idea worthy of a sprawling fantasy epic. But that's something only time will tell.

Linkbut I love so many projects and I don't want to abandon them so when I do I get really unmotivated!!!!!! maybe I'll make a series of short stories-- no i tried that and no one liked it,,,, maybe ill try that account again tho but not now

Linkwell, this site really isn't conducive to writing. If you try to write even moderately well and with characters that are moderatrely good everyone decides its too boring and ignores it/
Maybe try a smaller writing site like quotev or movella, that way nothing will get lost in the deluge of abusive romances wattpad has?
You don't have to let go of stories. Just keep them on your docs/word and come back to them when you want. There's no law saying you can't do that, unless you don't want to of course
