here's a random one: the thing is i dont know a thing about anime and ive never watched or read or whatever anime is (see how much i dont know about it already) but that one song unravel dude *sighs in let me start from the start* so ive played piano for something like 6 years now and took lessons for 5 of those years (we stopped at the start of quarantine which was the end of 8th grade for me) and i never really enjoyed it reading notes is incredibly difficult to me so i stopped long story short i watched fundy play the piano *without reading notes* and was just like awestruck i didnt know what songs he played but suddenly i wanted to learn them so i found out wet hands was a song from minecraft of all things and learned it and found out unravel was from tokyo ghoul which is something anime and it looks fricking insane -ly hard to play but yeah thats how fundy became my musical inspiration and how im determined to one day play unravel ... when i get the time which i wont
