She's a dragon hybrid who practices witchcraft. She was born in medieval times and she lives in the forest. she grew up in the palace of the king. She grew up helping her mother with her duties. Her mother was the head Servant of the palace. Eleanor stayed and worked in the palace up until she was around 9 or 10 years old. When she turn 9 her mother took her deep into the forest and told her to stay there forever. At the time Eleanor didn't understand why her mother would leave her in the woods all by her self. For years Eleanor though her mother didn't love her and abandoned her in the woods because Eleanor upset her mother. It wasn't until 4 years after her abandonment she figured out that the humans despised any and everything that was magical. The humans sought to destroy everything magical. Eleanor soon began to realize that she herself wasn't human at least not fully. She realized that her mother didn't hate her but was trying to protect her.

Eleanor thought back to that day when her mother left her in the woods and she felt guilty. When she was 9 her horns simply had became to big and tall to conceal underneath her servant bonnet. Although her dress was long enough and poofy enough to hide her tail the horns were a dead give away that she was indeed something magical. Of course Eleanor never knew she was different from humans until her second year in the woods when she saw too Childern wondering through on the look out for bugs. Until that day she thought that all children had horns like hers and tails. But she was wrong. a few years after that she saw papers warning of dangerous fire breathing beasts called dragons that warned of a sighting in the very woods she grown to call home. She began to worry until she saw the artist's drawing of the dragon's tail that had been spotted. she immediately recognized the tail as her own and began laughing. she thought to her self i can't be dragon my mum is human.

she stopped laughing. my mum is human she repeated again in a soft voice. my mum is human she said once again. she sat on down on the soft grass underneath the great oak. but my da is a mystery she said softy to her self as she tucked her head into her arms. I don't know who my da is or what he is she said to her self choking back tears. for all i know my da is a dragon or part dragon she whispered. over the next couple of months she tried her best to learn as much about dragons as she could. she learned that dragons can use magic and could heal things. she also learned that dragons come from the 6 tribes. tidalsurf,sunfire,moonshine, ivyfern, pyroburn, and zephyrbreezes. she quickly identified the markings on her tail and horns as a dragon of the moonshine tribe. the moonshine tribe was known for their incredible night vision and powerful magic and healing abilities. The tribe was also known for getting stronger abilities from a moonstone.

Eleanor adopted Moonshine as her last name in honor the glorious tribe. A few months after she got her new last name she came upon a large moonstone stashed away deep in a cave. she claimed the precious gem and made it into her staff. she know uses magic with the aid of her moonstone staff to protect the forest. One day Eleanor dreams of leaving and finding the dragons. And maybe even finding her father among them. :] that's all i have so far for her backstory :D
